Very convenient for the city centre. The independent cafes & restaurants of St Benedicts are very close. WiFi isn't great, but the hotel is clean, warm and well soundproofed. You don't really use a Premier Inn for more than sleeping and this is fine. Duke St car park is next door for an additional charge

I made this booking on trip.com, and went further to call the hotel to confirm the booking. Shockingly, when I got to the hotel I was told at the reception that they recieved no money. I showed my bank statements which had the debits for the hotel payment. But this was not resolved and I had to make a new, more expensive payment for the same room I had booked and paid for 4 weeks ago!
Well, the hotel is a bit old and the sound insulation was not that good. No lift, so u have to take the baggage upstairs yourself through the narrow stairs. Staff gave us some food as breakfast since we needed to catch the train in the morning. Many thanks.
ผผู้เข้าพักThis is the second time we have stayed here. The owner is slowly working on a full refurbishment.
There is something quite rustic to the place. It’s no Hilton, but serves the purpose for tired travellers.
Good look with the refurb. Love the concept of the Bee room!
ZZara MonicaBooked for one night to go to the football at Carrie road which is about 15min walk from hotel town centre is about 20min walk, it is easy to get to from the station just a short walk, arrived and some other guests let me in at first as the manager was not there, he arrived a few minutes later and quickly booked quests in, very easy process he showed me were I was staying as staying the other side of hotel, told me if I had any problems to ring the number on the paper stuck to the back of the door, and if I wanted to use the WiFi the code was also there. Room was small but had a shower toilet and sink as well as a hairdryer and clothes rack. There was also a kettle with tea and coffee facilities. Overall place was clean and tidy I stayed in the top part at the front it was a pleasant stay.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel is a short walk from the railway and within easy access to the Cathedral and city centre. I stayed there for 2 nights. In the 1st night, the bathroom light was out of order as there was no one in the hotel to take care of it. Nothing was done in the following morning, and the only thing to be done is to change the room in the afternoon.
The hotel looks tired and needs some touching up, yet the rooms are spacious, functional and clean, and the bed is comfortable. There is an issue with dampness in walls though it is not too serious. If you look for a budget place to sleep at night, this is the place for you.
