The hotel is in a fantastic location, with plenty of restaurants downstairs, and the beach just across the road. The only small issue was that the window wasn’t completely sealed, so there was a bit of wind coming in. I noticed parrots pecking at the window seal, so it was probably slightly damaged by birds. Other than that, everything was perfect. Still giving five stars — a very satisfying stay

Wonderful stay at Novotel Northbeach Wollongong ! The room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet. April, the hotel manager, was exceptionally professional, warm, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Everything was perfect from check-in to departure. Highly recommend—will definitely return!

I stayed at Novotel Wollongong over the weekend with my two kids, and we had an amazing experience from start to finish. The location is perfect—right across from the beach—and the views were beautiful. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable for a small family, and the kids loved having plenty of space to relax. Breakfast was great with lots of options, and the facilities were convenient and easy to access. My kids especially enjoyed the surroundings and the overall relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. Overall, it was a wonderful weekend getaway for me and my children. I’d definitely come back again and recommend Novotel Wollongong to other families looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. 

The location was fantastic, however the rooms were dated and facilities not great. We got a double queen city room and the door didn’t close properly, the room also had a really musty smell from the moment we went inside. The staff said they would send somebody to come and fix it but nobody fixed it. The sound from next door came through at night due to the poor sound acoustics.

Environment is good， Room is clean，but a little bit old, we booked Oceanview Room, but actually just can see the corner of the sea. Window Frame is bit dirty and I saw a spider next to there. Rest of things is ok.
