We arrived a bit early and our room wasn't ready so we went out to eat and killed some time along the river. When we went back to the hotel, we got our room. Ugh! When we walked in, it was not the room we requested. The bathroom was barely accessible and the room had 2 KS beds and no room for me to maneuver with my scooter. I called the front desk and explained the situation to one who would take care of the problem if he had to get the room ready himself. Turns out the room we were supposed to have sprung a leak from the floor above. They would check and call back. The front desk called back and said the room was fixed 40 minutes ago and had to be played for stay. They would call back. Called with good news/bad news. The room was ready, but the elevator was now broke!! Are you kidding me?? 3 1/2 hours later we were finally given a room. We should have just driven the rest of the way home for the time we spent waiting and doing nothing. Word to the wise... sitting in a scooter, the bathroom mirror is way to high to be accessible. Don't plan on putting on any make-up or combing your hair as you can't see yourself. Also, after washing your hair, there's no way to blow dry as the hair dryer is too high for a handicap person to reach. Does this hotel not have to follow any ADA rules? And then there was breakfast, or lack of. For the price paid for a room with breakfast, there was only a quick grab and go selection and nothing healthy!! Will not be going back here....!!
