Convenient location in city centre, the room was same as shown on the photos, spacious. Comfortable stay.

I stayed at this Travelodge when I was seeing my favourite band at the University, which was a 5 minute drive in a taxi. It was a lovely and very convenient place to stay - the staff were all very friendly and accommodating (especially David, Demy and Malcolm!). I would certainly stay here again!

Nice hotel located close to the Quayside and near the city centre. Upgraded rooms are available but the standard rooms are adequate and some even have baths in, for someone like me who doesn't like showers this is a bonus. Staff are kind, friendly and helpful.

Arrived late young receptionist was just basically rude the other one was just as bad room was appalling toilet stank of sewage bedsheets stained room was cold couldn’t get the heater to work bed was approximately ONE FOOT of the floor carpet my feet stuck to it toilet itself I practically had to kneel down to use management the next morning TROTTED out what to me sounded very much like familiar words I certainly won’t be going back

Had a great stay at the Newcastle Central Travelodge last night. Good value, clean, quiet and above all safe. Hats off to the night security team who look after guests without even being apparently there. Our door was left ajar (our own fault) but as they routinely patrol it was noticed and we were alerted. Sophie on reception was very friendly and efficient Location is brilliant. We were highly impressed throughout
