Court Colman Manor

The outside of the venue, stunning, the cleanliness was shocking don't think it's had a proper clean since I don't know when, dead flies on window seat at top of the stairs, something black growing in the kettle in the room I had, beds are like a concrete slab, so much dust there, couldn't even shower until I cleaned the basin properly, absolute disgrace especially the price they charge. My room was paid for by someone else or I'd be requesting a refund, only plus side were the 2 members of staff we did wait for 45 mins for a drink as the only staff member had to do a show around leaving a bar full of guests waiting. Would never stay here again

Just returned from a one night stay for our anniversary. Beautiful setting and a relaxed atmosphere. The rooms are lovely, with plenty of space and cleaned with care. The hotel upgraded us for our anniversary which was a lovely gesture. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast was cooked fresh with high quality ingredients. I can’t fault any part of our stay. We booked the restaurant through the hotel although it’s owned by a 3rd party the food was lovely and the setting was very nice. Thank you all for a lovely stay to celebrate our anniversary.

This is my second visit to court Colman and I intend on coming back in October this year it is such a beautiful hotel and the breakfast is amazing 🤩 xxx

We stayed at the Manor back in October and loved it so much we returned this April. This time we stayed in room 214 which is a stunning, spacious room with a beautiful view of the front grounds. The staff are all so friendly and accommodating and we will definitely be returning.

I recently attended an event at the hotel, which is a great venue. Staff were on hand and really helpful. Room was spacious and had everything we needed.

We recently hosted our Back to the Manor event at Court Colman Manor, and once again the experience was absolutely fantastic. For the event we took over the entire hotel, along with all rooms at their sister property Great House Hotel, and the support from them and the Court Colman team from start to finish was incredible. Organising an event of this scale is no small task, and although what we do is very different from the weddings and traditional events they usually host, the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The team were professional, flexible and genuinely supportive throughout the planning and the event itself. They worked with us every step of the way to make sure everything ran smoothly and that our guests had a great experience. The venue itself is stunning and creates such a special atmosphere for an event like ours. Having a team behind you that is willing to go the extra mile makes all the difference, and Court Colman truly delivered once again. A huge thank you to everyone involved – we’re incredibly grateful for the effort and hospitality shown to us and all of our guests. We’re already looking forward to the next one. Thank you so much!

I was a guest at a wedding at this hotel and can say that I had a really lovely stay while there . My room was lovely and comfortable and was on the back of the hotel overlooking the carpark that can usually be a negative, but it also overlooks the spinney and to watch the birds flitting in and out of the trees while drinking my first cuppa of the morning ,was lovely. The wedding that I attended was absolutely amazing! Each separate room is decorated individually and it was easy to be able to move between them once the service and meal were finished and most of the rooms have a comfy chair or two to collapse into ! The meal at the reception was gorgeous, especially the roast. The beef was completely melt in the mouth and really enjoyable , along with the huge yorkshire and the nice selection of vegetables. The tasty soup starter and the dessert made it a meal to remember! The evening was a disco/live band but due to a recent serious illness, my energy levels had run out , so I made my way to bed before the end. Despite the noise downstairs, my room was beautifully peaceful and I had no problems sleeping - the first hotel that i have stayed in where I was not disturbed by the neighbours ! A lovely stay was finished by a yummy breakfast. There are negatives, sadly - the hotel is not really suitable for disabled people as there are no lifts. I have a knee injury that meant I had a bit of a struggle up the stairs (shame I couldn't have slid down the bannisters) - but for guests to weddings etc, it is all on one level, though the ramp under the porch could do with replacing. The main disappointment was the Nepalese restaurant on site, It's not huge, but the seating is comfortable and it is well decorated. I must say i have had Nepalese food before that I really enjoyed as all the spices etc were subtle and made the dish really enjoyable, the meat of choice was well cooked. Not so here, I had lamb that according to the description should have been well cooked (it wasn't) and the sauce it is in should have been subtley flavoured - I nearly had my tongue burnt, and even the rice with it wasn't cooked properly. I think the chef was overwhelmed by having an order for over 4 people as it arrived at the table in bits - I even had to wait for the rice that eventually arrived several minutes after the main dish . Apart from the restaurant , I would easilly recommend this hotel . The wedding seemed to flow seemlessly, and the hardworking staff were great , especially the housekeeper that carried my suitcase downstairs for me - managing a walkin stick and a case would have been nearly impossible without this lovely ladies help!

Enjoyed our 2 night stay here. It is a lovely old building with loads of character and interest. The staff were very friendly and our room was very comfortable. The kitchen was out of use on our 2nd morning, but the hotel phoned and advised us of this before we arrived, and we accepted that only a continental breakfast would be available. We used the bar for drinks but didn't eat at the restaurant in the evening.

Had my Dad's 80th birthday celebration. Really beautiful hotel.rooms were fabulous and the party was great. The food was really delicious, authentic Indian buffet, so much and so tasty with a great choice. The staff were amazing. Big thankyou to Darren for organising it and also Hannah and Lee for a fab job on the day. Couldn't have asked for any more. It was just perfect. Also Breakfast was really good, plenty of choice and fresh cooked
