Location and facilities are great. Close to the subway station and they have a gym and a place for breakfast.
However, our room had a really strong smell that is coming from the carpet which smelled like bleach covering some vomit or stinky milk. It was so bad the minute you enter the room you can smell it. We tried opening the window for the whole night, the smell’s still here. Tried seek help from the front desk and they said they sent a machine to suck out the air in the room. But when we’re back to the room, it still stinks.
Also, the blanket for the sofa bed seems dirty, it has a lot of stains on it…

Our room was cold for two nights but they was nice to change our room to where the heat was working.

Without my request I was put in a handicap room. I did not need on but appreciated the fact it was on an upper floor. The local weather was extremely cold, and though I had the heat in the room raised to 80 F, the temp in the room never rose above 68 F.
Overall the stay was fine, I would recommend the property…though you probably can get better accommodations for the price in the area.

Location is great. Subway super close and also close walk to lots of attractions. A few negatives were- Bed was a bit firm and not super comfy. Also rooms were not souldproof and you can here neighbors pretty clearly. Especially their tv.

I got charged for deposit and it never came back. I called the hotel several times and waited for incredibly long time. Nobody responded.

Overall it was a great experience. I had some issues with poor plumbing in the bathroom but in general, the rooms are spacious and clean, amenities are great, & the staff was super kind & helpful.

Front desk staff were welcoming & accommodating. The room (on 17th floor) was clean and had all basic needs. NYC is noisy all day & night, the road sounds were more than ambient noise, but there’s little the hotel could do about that. The bed was hard as a rock, which seems to be a trend at Courtyards of late. The options at breakfast were more than adequate and a decent price for NYC. Lots of public transportation available near the hotel, very walkable & safe area of the city with lots of restaurants and shopping options.
