"Outstanding Gem recently re-opened for B&B stays, previously the Jarvis at 220 was only available as an event venue. My wife and I were there celebrating Mother’s Day. The rooms were large and comfortable, and the porches always seemed to be shady. Centrally located to everything downtown, the Tryon Palace was walking distance. The basement is an inviting playroom, with billiards, flatscreens, and oversized stuffed sectionals, perfect for relaxing on a hot afternoon. The staff was meticulously organized and friendly, it felt like a home and not just lodging."
