"Recommed for couples or singles looking for quiet retreat. Stayed in one of the 'Mango' rooms..small, basic, nevertheless sufficient for a short weekend stay. Balcony with seats a bonus! looking out to the beautiful sea views so calming & the sunset from dining area, sublime. Staff are very welcoming, gracious & attentive. Really enjoyed the food. Cleanliness good. I agree more of a guesthouse than hotel...a niche for meditation & reflection. My hubby & I really enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to staying again Grand Rising....JOAO"

"This was a magical vacation for my husband and I and I’m not sure I can even put into words how special this property is. From the moment you arrive you feel like you are being cared for and I truly believe the staff are an integral part of how amazing it really is. The food is fresh and delicious and we looked forward to every single meal. Swimming off the cliffs is an experience you can’t miss and one evening we even saw dolphins! Gardener Owen was such a joy to chat with and he definitely took pride in tending to all the beautiful plants snd flowers around the property. Too many staff to mention as they were all just so lovely. I would say the only downside is that we don’t ever want to stay anywhere else!"

"My husband and I with our two boys 11 & 15 stayed for 5 nights in November. The resort is perfect. The rooms were large enough for everyone to be very comfortable. The beach is a little slice of heaven. It’s in a wonderful location to walk the beach and explore other resorts and restaurants. The food was great. We ate breakfast there every day and dinners multiple nights. They have paddle boards for use for free. Plenty of chairs for everyone staying onsite. The highlight of the trip was the staff. Everyone working there was so friendly and accommodating. Special shout out to Claudia and Nicholas that made sure we had everything we needed and assisted in setting up trips to the cliff’s and snorkeling. We cannot wait to return. If you’re looking for a smaller resort with high end customer service this is your place!"

"Absolutely had the best time at Rock House! There is not one thing I didn't love, and would recommend it in a heartbeat. Our room was the least expensive, and while small, met our needs. One day I'd love to stay in one of the villas overlooking the sea! Housekeeping was excellent. The grounds are expansive and the cliffside views and access to the water is amazing. You can just sit on a lounge chair all day looking out over the water. The staff is all gracious and wonderful. The guests are from all over, and everyone was kind and friendly. Rock House throws in a little extra something every day - one day a complimentary short massage, another day was free drinks by the pool, and every day we enjoyed happy hour from 5-6 p.m. Sunsets were awesome. Location was great and we walked to nearby restaurants - Sips and Bits, Ericka's, and Xtabi. Had breakfast at Rock House which was tasty. The location allowed us to get out and support more local businesses."
