The winner for this hotel is it's location. Yes it's a couple of stops away from the train/bus station so not necessarily ideal for that but it is super close to a lot of the sightseeing, like Dejima, Chinatown and the harbour area. There is also a tram stop right outside so you can get anywhere really easily. The room itself was pretty small but it has everything you need and they even were able to fit in a desk with a TV for example. Check in was super easy using the self check in machine and staff is there to help you along the way if you're struggling or have any questions. We thought it was a bit expensive for what you get since everything is a little bit dated and the room is on the small side.
My husband and I wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary in Nagasaki and we decided to stay at Nagasaki Marriott as hotel was newly opened 3 months ago. The hotel located at a good location, next to bus terminal, train station and easy access to tram so we can just go around the city for sightseeing and cultural experience, but the best part was that hotel is next to a shopping mall where you can find many good restaurants and shops including famous local Nagasaki Castela. Our experience staying at Nagasaki Marriott was beyond our expectations. We were so impressed with how well hotel staff were trained at all areas since hotel just opened not long time ago. We really felt like we stepped into Japanese hospitality for both services and mindset of staff who always pay attention to guests from the entrance of the hotel at ground floor before going up to the lobby check-in with warm welcome and big smiles. Each area we experienced was a wonderful one, breakfast area was well set with variety of foods from local products. We very much appreciated staff working hard in kitchen and also M Lounge was our favorite place to relax and enjoy some dinner served and conversations with the staff. We fell into love with this hotel, not only because the modern designed room but also offered the solutions on how guest could enjoy the room during their stay. But most importantly our experience with staff made our stay such a wonderful and special one. Special thanks to: Mr. Yoshimitsu, Executive Assistant Manager, Mr. Antonio, Guest Experience Manager who made sure guests are well taken care. And thank you for training your staff well. Thank you also to Ms. Soegawa, Mr. Hashimoto, Mr. Bijaya for taking good care of us. Also restaurant staff Ms. Kurihara, Mr. Ishibashi and Mr. Take****a. We are looking forward to come back to your hotel again. Nuchjaree
This hotel has stunning views surrounding by famous tourist spots in Nagasaki. Excellent service and the staff were friendly. The room is clean and has a contemporary design. Everything looked new when we were there. Thank you for everything we were very happy during our stay at Traveltine everything was excellent if I come back to Nagasaki your hotel will be my first choice.
Nicely located in the British area of the city and beautiful walking areas nearby. The hotel felt cozy, neat, well managed for Covid19 protocols and very comfortable. The staff was trained well and quite professional. I had to settle a personal travel matter and the staff Mr Wang Meng Yao helped me with it. That was indeed helpful and going the extra mile. The room had nice views of Glover hills neighbourhood. The breakfast was nice and I enjoyed sitting and eating from a choice of western and Japanese food items. The Mt. Inasa ropeway bus service and tickets were available at the hotel and were very helpful indeed. Its a good choice for your day and quite a good value. Tram station is less than 2 min walking.Close of key attractions like Atomic bomb museum and the Chinatown.
ผผู้เข้าพักThe hotel is located as you go up Mt Inasa, on the hilly side of Nagasaki. Unless you drive, getting to Chinatown, Atomic bomb museum etc. require public transport as they are some distance away. We stayed for the night in the twin room. It is a large hotel, and the rooms are spacious, although a little aged. Not many eateries nearby, so unless you are eating at the hotel restaurants, you may want to pack some food to the hotel if you get there at dinner. Like most other Japanese hotels, breakfast is good, with a mix of Western and Japanese dishes. Beds are comfortable, and you can request for more pillows, which we did. As usual, they have all the amenities ie toothbrush, combs/brush, etc. provided. Recommend as an overnight stay, especially if you want to go up to the Inasayama observatory after dark (to capture one of the best night views in Japan).
CCherry888Clean room with stove, utensils and washing machine. Bed was slightly firm. Our room (101) was next to the road, but late at night it is quiet on the street.
Only 1 parking right next to the entrance that is slightly expensive. Surrounding open air parking lots were cheaper.
Entry is easy to miss (see photo) and self check-in did take some time via ipad.
