This is just the funkiest throw back hotel around! It is quaint and seemingly thrown together with authentic 60's paraphernalia and furniture. While you're spinning LPs in the great room, you can grab a swimming pool sized martini and watch the world go by. The room lighting left a bit to be desired because it was too dark for me to read, but I was exhausted from hiking the beautiful countryside, and forgave this niggling discomfort. The innkeeper was like super spinning dervish, hopping from hosting the restaurant, jumping behind the line to cook up the (yummy) vittles, to running over to greet folks at the front desk and make sure everyone's transportation was arranged. Someone needs to give that man a vacation - at a super funky fun hotel like this! Go. It's not like anywhere else you've ever been or stayed.

Unique, eclectic hotel in the beautiful town of Mürren. The decor is bold and creative, and every room is different. The hotel is clean, cozy and comfortable. The view of the Eiger, Monch, and Jungfrau from our balcony was stunning. There was not a TV in the room, but there was a refrigerator. There were not a lot of choices at breakfast but the food was good and the staff very friendly.

Funky decor, beautiful views, convenient location. Cable cars & train station very nearby. No elevator (I think). Distinctive toiletries. Comfy bed. No TV in bedroom. Amazing fondue at dinner. Adequate breakfast. Pleasant staff. Efficient baggage transfer for hikers.

Fantastic staff. Candace. Mikaela. Alex. Downside is trying to do laundry and waiting for coffee in the morning but comfortable rooms, good food and cocktails, great views, and excellent service! Would 100% stay here again if I return to the region.

We loved this hotel. It was so charming and beautifully and stylishly renovated very recently. They thought of every detail. The views right from the hotel are unreal, among the best we’ve seen, and the food and service were fantastic. Nothing better than a day of beautiful hiking followed by a drink on the deck overlooking the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. We cannot wait to return!

This is a great hotel. Small town quiet mountain charm. The friendliest staff. Felt like we were staying with family not a hotel. We had a large room with great views. Nice big bathroom. Plenty of room to put our over stuffed suitcases. The beds were super comfortable and the towels were very thick and nice. The staff is AWESOME. Caroline, Alexander, and the young man from Portugal (forgot his name - maybe Andre?), the staff at breakfast......they all will do anything you ask to make your stay pleasant. Because we had so much luggage they even took us in the golf cart when we left to the station. Highly recommend staying here. Oh and there patio is awesome at the restaurant. The best views in town. Also they put out a really nice breakfast. Dinner had a limited menu because it was not quit the season yet. The food was very limited and just fair and based on that would not recommend it. The only changes i would make is that the rooms are painted rather dark which is not a problem but they need to provide more lighting. The issues is that there is no TV anywhere in the hotel. The town rolls up early and a tv would be nice.
