Stayed at the Motel One Muchen Westend for 2 nights during Oktoberfest last month. Similar to other Motel One hotels this one was clean, with very small rooms and bathrooms. For what we needed it was fine. No frills, but priced as such. And during Oktoberfest everything is expensive. Quiet rooms and comfortable beds. Walking distance to the fairgrounds. Friendly staff. Would stay here again if back in Muchen. AC did not cool all that well, which had not been the case when we've stayed at others in this chain.

I have been a regular customer of Motel One for several years. I was definitely disappointed this time. The reception was not bad since our plane was delayed but the receptionist did not even ask for our ID at check in. The cleaning was conspicuous by its absence. In 4 days they have only cleaned once and because we complained. Cleaning after 4pm? Seriously? And if we take a nap they interrupt us. I think this chain should review this type of policies to maintain its quality standards.

I chose the Westend location to visit friends close-by. Traveled by car and was able to park in the hotel's (closed for public) garage. I left my car in the garage for a few hours longer than my check-out time, and the hotel was nice enough to accommodate this without me having to pay for another day. Even though the hotel is located right on a main street, I found it to be very quiet inside. My room was towards the back of the building, so that was a bonus. I always appreciate rooms where you can open windows, and I was happy to have very quiet nights despite the open window. I was offered a breakfast voucher but did not make use of it. Public transport - bus and tram - is just around the corner from the hotel. Generally, I liked the location, the closeness to public transport, the room size was perfectly adequate for one person, it was clean, and the staff were all extremely friendly. I would definitely book again.

I have only the best things to say about this place! The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the room is comfortable and, most importantly, quiet! I’ve slept so well here, which I needed after my last hotel. The breakfast is also outstanding. I’m vegan, and I have eaten like a queen here! I do wish the bathroom door in my room could stay open on its own without my having to prop it open to allow steam to get out more quickly after a shower, but otherwise, this place is a gem! Important to note: If you want a place that’s quick walking distance to the main attractions, this isn’t it, but if you don’t mind taking public transport in, it’s quick and easy to get to everything by bus, underground, tram, or train.

Mein Aufenthalt im Motel one in der Landsberger Str. in München war äußerst unangenehm, insbesondere wegen einer bedrohlichen Situation an der Nachtrezeption. Der Mitarbeiter namens Hassan verhielt sich aggressiv und unprofessionell, was dazu führte, dass ich mich ernsthaft bedroht fühlte. Die Situation eskalierte so sehr, dass ich schließlich die Polizei hinzuziehen musste, um die Angelegenheit zu klären. Solch ein Verhalten ist völlig inakzeptabel und nicht tolerierbar. Ich rate dringend davon ab, dieses Motel zu besuchen.

Zimmer sind gut und sauber. Das Bad war sehr sauber, lediglich am Türrahmen war eine kleine Macke. Das Personal ist freundlich und kompetent. Frühstücksbüffet ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Haltestelle und Bäcker sind nur wenige Meter entfernt
