We stay at Hilton hotels often, but this is the first time that I have felt compelled to write a review. The staff was excellent and so friendly from the lady that made our omelette to the maids we passed in the halls. Lisa at the front desk was the most friendly and helpful staff member that I have ever encountered at a Hilton. She always made a point to talk to our children and helped us find fun activities for the day. Thank you for such a wonderful stay.
We were visiting MUSC and stayed at this property. We arrived at 6pm so were greeted with a complimentary beer and wine reception from 5pm - 7pm. Tom got us checked in, man that guy is great. The bartender, the breakfast attendant, housekeeping staff etc. everyone was great. We had to be at the hospital early, but door to door was 10minutes. We headed back to the hotel at 6pm, and again, only 10 minutes. Located 5 minutes from Shem’s Creek restaurants, Patriots Point etc. Really enjoyed this clean, well maintained property. Especially the people.
We absolutely love this hotel & have stayed here anytime we come to Charleston. It’s nice because it’s away from the craziness of downtown and gives off resort vibes. The staff is wonderful. Tonya Williams at the front desk is always so helpful. She goes above & beyond to make sure her guests are completely satisfied & happy. Hotel Indigo is lucky to have her.
ผผู้เข้าพักCould not have been happier with the room, the staff, or our stay. They have a lil area that has items for purchase and the drink selection could have included milk, but given the fact our room had a full size fridge, was not a bit bothered as we just bought some. It was spacious and had just about everything you could think of. Outlet usage was a bit sparse on one side of the bed, but again, not a big deal. Price was amazing. I would absolutely stay here again.
Stayed for a wedding weekend and had a great stay, not one complaint. The room was perfectly clean, housekeeping was great about refilling towels, etc. You can choose your housekeeping services here. We were only there 3 days so only needed a towel refresh. They also emplied our trash each day. The pool was very peaceful, enough lounge chairs that we didn't have to wait for a chair. The property is located at the base of the Cooper RIver Bridge so very convenient to donwtown Charleston. Only about a mile from Shem Creek and the famous Paige's Okra Kitchen. We also went to Sullivan's Island and it was about a 12 minute drive. Breakfast was good, the folks working there keep it very clean and well stocked. They have strawberry waffles in addition to regular. Front desk staff also very nice and helpful.
JJoyce DMy family stayed one night pre-surgery and considered the Isle of Palms Hampton Inn in Mt. Pleasant. . Our family was to be in Mt Pleasant for an out of state family member's surgery and there for the 2 week recovery time after surgery. We decided the outdated upholstered lobby and room furniture, plus the plywood on the dining area may not be the ideal hygienic environment for a post surgery patient and 2 week recovery stay. Thankfully the staff understood and we were able to move before the discharge from hospital. Thankfully our family members surgery and recovery time in Mt. Pleasant was safe and thus far successful. We are grateful and back to our state and home.
I've been making annual trips to Charleston for a decade, and this hotel is always part of my plans. It has an ideal location in Mount Pleasant, just over the bridge from downtown, and in fact there's a stairwell that goes directly from the property onto the bridge walkway. It's also been consistently clean and comfortable. My stay was in room #317, which is one of their larger two-queen suites with living area and two TVs. The suite has a sectional-style sofa, which is ideal if meeting people while in town. The bathtub is nice and wide, and the trash cans are of a good size - the seemingly minor things that can still make a stay more enjoyable. I had no issues at all during my stay. One minor note - there's no freezer section for the in-room fridge, so plan accordingly. This hotel has always had one of the better hotel breakfasts, and that hasn't changed. Nor has the breakfast lady, who's been working here since I began my yearly trips and who rememebers me from all my past visits. The staff all around is friendly and helpful, in fact. The Comfort Inn & Suites Patriots Point has always been a clean and reliable hotel to stay at for my yearly trips to the Charleston area. Thankfully, that hasn't changed, and it will continue to serve a key role for my future visits to the city.
Called the hotel a few weeks before our stay for information and landed speaking with Tabatha. She is a delight on the phone. We are typically Marriott members, but were interested with how close this location was to the beach. We did not realize until we arrived that Tabatha was actually management answering our questions. She was so helpful in knowing the area and giving advice on what to do. So helpful and made our stay great. We got to see her through out the stay and some other staff, we arrived just before and stayed over the storm known as Debbie. Alot of guest were fussy but everytime Tabatha and a girl who I cannot remember her name always handled it with grace and poise without getting upset. The hotel is a little on the rough edges but we were told they are doing a full renovation. Between all the feedback and attention we shared with Tabatha this has become our new destination spot and we can't wait to come back after renovations. A housekeeper named Bobby was constantly ready to help if we needed extra towels or supplies brought to our room. Breakfast seemed to have more than what our normal Marriott fare included. We would like to see some more gluten free options but when you travel with certain conditions you know to pack for those occasions. This property is close to the beach and food. Has a Harris teeter and a target in walking distance. Property owned parking lot. Kind of hard to get parking late at night.
Since about 2000, prices have exploded in downtown Charleston, I was really amazed and learned that this is predominantly caused by the automobile industries and one of the big aircraft constructors. Mt Pleasant is a good alternative if you have your own car that is, because this is quite a long way out of town. There are multiple parking lots in Charleston, so you can manage that. Would consider this place again, although nothing special. Some of the rooms have connecting doors, so can be quite noisy.
