Love this hotel.Staff friendly.Need little upgrade of of toilet tissue quality and shower is low water pressure.

my room had a “wall view” right in front of the window… it was a bit embarrassing that as the wall was so close to the window

Quite a good hotel, I like it - the location was perfect and generally it was nice.

The location of the hotel is great with a lot of restaurants and shops nearby in Cannery Row. Parking in hotel is expensive however we just parked at the street side for $1 per hour (free from 6pm till 9am), it’s only a few minute walk from the hotel. We found the room we had not sound proof very well, we could hear the foot steps and shower of the floor above.

I’ve been to Monterey many times over the years and always considered spending a little extra to stay here. My stay was alright. The room was clean, loved the big tub and stand alone shower. Duvet was very comfortable but only thin down pillows with no support. I was disappointed with my “ocean view” which ended up being brick wall of the building next door, with a questionable metal “balcony.” If you were brave enough to peer over you could see the ocean. Parking is $50+ a night whether you valet or self park. We weren’t told which of the nearby parking garages were affiliated and ended up in the wrong garage the first night and had to pay double. If I stay again I’d just skip on their garage and use the one on Foam St for $20 overnight parking. We did not visit the restaurant so cannot speak on that. Area is fun, love the proximity to the aquarium. Lots of little touristy shops and cafes right outside on the *****. For the price plus the additional parking fee I do not know that I’d stay here again. Driving to all the local hot spots is pretty easy so staying a little bit away from the area and spending less seems to be a better idea for me personally.

very good hotel, comfortable and friendly staffs overall. Just love the bathing/hair brands they pick. InterCon never let me down.

Wonderful location! Very clean and comfortable room/bed. Will stay again in our next visit. So close to Monterey’s aquarium which is must to visit place.

Location is good! Although service for 5 Star should be as it is in protocol. I have asked to deliver tea bags which I wanted, they provide in the room very strange flavor which is not common, I have asked via phone to provide me normal English breakfast but I was refused that they don’t have it. I still think with such a price and star hotel should satisfy the customers with any need during the stay in the hotel.

Hotel is situated at the edge of the pier and it is beautiful. However the staff were quite alright but will not go all out to help you. Asked about car parking and coin changing, lukewarm answers. The room was ok but the one given was not impressive.

This was a great hotel to stay at the staff were friendly and super helpful. Beautiful views and the perfect location. The only downside was that the wifi did not work, we called the front desk which then transferred our call to an IT department who were not much help we spent our stay without a wifi, not the greatest as a person visiting for the first time especially if you have online business meetings. Everything else was amazing I traveled with a friend and we had a great time as this location has many great places for good food.Will definitely book here again.

Great stay a little pricey. Wish there was a microwave.

Very nice hotel, but way over priced, especially for the area. $45 to park is outrageous. $8 for black coffee, are you kidding me? Breakfast averaged $90 for 2 people. We were quite disappointed in "cannery row" really not much there.
