we stayed at this place during our journey from Kampala to Ishasa Wilderness Camp. the hotel has a perfect location at a small lake in Mbarara with pool and gym and spa. we enjoyed a very good dinner but you better make the order ahead....

The facility is depleted and over priced.. no value for money... BUT because Mbarara city gets rather over booked during weekends, Lake View is often the available option!! The rooms design and furniture is old, stuffy! Breakfast was at average standard, but with very limited choices.

To be in Uganda is enough, in Europe it would be a nigh**are. Friendly staff, but bathroom to be reviewed, wifi malfunctioning for those who have to work there, internal restaurant ...... from nigh**are kitchens of canavacciuolo (everything fried!, fish, chicken ....). Clothes to throw away after dinner. Minimal breakfast but I realize that near Rwanda this is normal. I don't know....

Rooms are so ugly and old. Gives you the feeling you are at an old folks house, smelly and ugly. Light is white like in a hospital. Staff is so board, not helpful and want your money. Breakfast is soooo bad. Discusting. I came here for 2 days of business and to my bad luck paid in advance. The hotel looks good from the outside but don't let it fool you - we are talking about something that was probably built during colonization time and was never renewed ever since. Room is so depressing you won't want to come back to it. Oh - and no wifi.
