In the main bedroom is a new queen size double bed, matching headboard and bedside cabinets, all new from April. By Summer of 2024 a complete bathroom refurb is planned with walk in shower, non slip floor tiles and other luxury fittings. The main attraction though is still the location, quiet but close to all amenities and with the best view of the Bay of Mazarron in Puerto. Puerto de Mazarron is a little Spanish jewel, still barely known by holidaymakers from the Uk, though that has been changing over time as the word has spread! The Spanish people love it here but they only come in numbers in July and August, mainly from Madrid, so the rest of the year is busy but not over-busy. Known to ex-pats as “the Port”, Puerto has a fantastic range of beaches, enough cafe bars and restaurants so you can eat somewhere different every night if you wish and lots of activities locally including wind surfing, scuba diving (several schools), jet skis, tennis, rambling, golf etc. Not too far away are the cities of Cartagena and Murcia with great shopping, water park, zoo, museums and lots of historical sites from the Roman ruins up to the recent past.
