Price is too$ for what it is. Restaurant prices are way too much! Toilet was clogged! This is not a resort, it's an hotel for 1 night no more. Lots and lots of garbage on the beach. Dirty, small pool where locals came from the beach for a swim, no security, no control, I don't even know why they give you a bracelet to stay here! Waves arrive and hit the wall of the hotel, boardwalk, paint is destroyed by high water. Hotel is just runed down. Lots of repair need to be done. I was disapointed We waited 25 min. for breakfast and there were only 5 people including us, waitress had a mean attitude. I booked this place for the beach view and pool. Sadly we did not go swim either the pool or beach! I gave it 2 stars for: 1. Room was big nice, clean, modern and beautiful. 2. Receptionist was super nice, GREAT smile and personality. Will not come back here! Advises: Do not let locals on the beach come in, leave a spot for hotel guests to use the beach in front of the boardwalk, it was FULL of locals and get a full time maintenance and security person on the site. This place needs a lots of outdoor repairs. Get a sign at the main street for people to know where it's located, the entrance is full of water, mud and holes, not very nice! Make the restaurant $$$ prices locally affordable that way people won't leave to eat out...

Nice place … difficult to find . Flys n the restaurant. Food was ok . The serve me the wrong meal. They said yo eat that and that they would give me a free dinner to cover for the mistake . They did not gave me any free dinner . They just apologized. Meals were more expensive that other restaurants around and more expensive than the capital.

We chose a beach front room. The view was fantastic. The king size bed was comfortable and the room very spacious. There was no door on the bathroom which i found very inconvenient. Every day there was a bbq where you could pick what you would like cooked. Breakfast had 2 options Dominican or continental. Both were good. The staff were wonderful and surprised my partner with cake on his birthday. Grounds are beautiful with a small pool. A very romantic place when there are no children staying. Unfortunately the short road leading to the hotel is in very rough shape and difficult to drive.

Staff, beach, location everything was excellent, unfortunately, the weather doesn't help but the place is amazin, high recommended!

This is a really unique place to stay. Our room had these huge windows that opened up to the beach. The staff was absolutely amazing. They went above and beyond to help us and see that we had everything we needed to make our stay wonderful. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We would recommend The Palm Bay Club Lodge to anyone who wants the best experience in the Dominican Republic. We definitely will be back.

The staff had no clue what so ever what they were doing , fixing know how to charge my card , how much to charge my card . Service was super slow . It seemed like they were on vacation more than I was .

Location was great! I love that this is such an intimate hotel with 10 rooms, all on ground floor

I’d definitely stay there again, but at the rate that we paid this time, it was off-season as we went there after the new year, but the property needs some more TLC as far as the outside. The inside was nice! I love the rustic, natural, minimalist look. Unfortunately, we couldn’t even take pictures on the beach as there was so much trash on the property line and the beach. The staff was very helpful and nice since we arrived after the kitchen was closed. The Security helped us coordinate delivery. The staff was also super helpful at the fact that I left my purse in one of the nightstands. They called me immediately after finding it and we had to drive back five hours to pick it up. They were willing to send it through our carrier so I can get my person a timely manner, but we just drove back to get it. The breakfast that was included was absolutely great. The only recommendation that I would give the owners is to have someone periodically pick up the trash that comes up on their land/sand. With a beach front property even looking out the window during breakfast was unappealing.

This lodge is a truly special and unique place. It’s a hidden gem in Nagua—quiet, relaxing, and full of charm. The Dominican breakfast was delicious and authentic, one of the highlights of my stay. The person in charge offered excellent customer service and made sure everything was perfect. I really enjoyed my time here and will definitely come back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a beautiful, tucked-away spot to unwind!
