The location in the new business district of Marseilles, the cleanliness, free WiFi and the Novotel's spacious suites with a balcony and a view of the cruise terminal convinced us. Since we were on a road trip through France and Spain with some friends, we traveled in a van. Unfortunately, the parking garages in these countries only have a limited height, but in the parking garage of this accomodiation, which was a 5-minute walk away, it was suitable for our large vehicle, was very generous and was also discounted for hotel guests. The staff at Novotel Suites was very friendly, a bar, a gym and a restaurant with daily breakfast were among the amenities of this hotel. We didn't use the breakfast because there were very good and cozy breakfast places where you can sit outside in the surrounding area. A shopping mall and public transport connections (metro/tram) were in the immediate vicinity. The Old Harbor with a lot of seafood restaurants and a wonderful atmosphere in the evening was easy to reach in about 15 minutes on foot. We can recommend this hotel, especially for guests with a large car.
Everything positive, very happy with the top services especially front desk Rania and Nora respective and polite, nice sea view, quite and comfortable, breakfast delicious croissant with tasty coffee, definitely will come back, Love to thank all staff and managements for keeping it up. We just stayed here last week. Props for the bunk beds which was helpful with family travel, but overall I found the hotel to be dirty. The hallway outside our room had crumbs everywhere and didn't look like it had been vacuumed in a while. The shower in our room wasn't as clean as I'd like. A tile outside our toilet room was loose and there was random water (?) behind the toilet long after room service had been there. While the property appears to be new, it is not in great condition and not as clean as it should be.

Stayed in this hotel in June 22. Have to admit that my first impression was student halls but we adapted well. The apartment was small but very clean. We had one bedroom but only big enough to house twin beds and a bedside table and a lamp. The beds were very comfortable. There was a separate toilet and a small bathroom with a over bath shower. I first thought that the bath was not clean but it was just here the enamel had worn away. There was a small kitchenette with cooker, fridge and dishwasher. We didn’t use it except for tea and coffee as we had B&B which was good the lady in the dining room was very friendly and was happy to help. We ate out for dinner. There is a table and chairs and a sofa bed in the living area plus a tv. The balcony was big and facing the sea which was nice with lovely views over the bay. There were patio table and chairs. If you are staying less than 8 days you won’t get room service but will provide it at an extra cost. There is a free safe deposit in all rooms. I think this is because of covid. There is free WiFi and a safety deposit box. There is no hairdryer in the rooms but you can get one from reception at no cost if you ask. Reception were ok but didn’t speak much English but we were in France after all so got by. The pool is small but nice the only thing is that there is no seating around the pool. Most people were just sitting on the decking on towels. The hotel is just 5 minutes from the beach. The only thing is that it was not Sandy but stony and gritty not good for making sand castles. There are no sun beds or parasols to hire, and very little shade. There is a Sandy beach further down the bay about 10 mins walk. There are restaurants close by but also more on the Sandy beach which is lovely. Also a good supermarket near too. You can get a bus into the city on the road next to the hotel the No 83 is €2 per person each way along the coast to the marina. I have to say that the external walls of the hotel need to be tidied up they look very tired. A lick of paint is needed badly, and maybe the rooms brought up to date a little. Maybe the hotel group could invest some funds into doing this. All in all we had a good stay but it could have been better. Thank you to all staff the made our stay comfortable.
ผผู้เข้าพักReally nice! I loved how you can have your own space by closing the curtain. The beds didn't make any noise or movements when you climb into the upper bed. Maybe a small improvement: sign for where the reception/checkin is or some arrows. Overall had a nice stay, very cozy place and clean and good working services
This - kind of - does what it says on the tin. A decent room in a great location with breakfast places if you turn both left and right (and a Lidl just up the hill). Also Le44 next door is a nice eatery. The bathroom is, in theory, well thought out, roomy with enough either side of the basin to put vanity bags. But, the shower heads (I presume) have been changed and don't fit into the holders so you have to be creative with how you have a shower. There is no plug in the sink. The beds (2 singles) have mattresses that are larger than the bedstead, so if you put too much weight on the edge of the mattress, you are liable to topple out of the bed. We had room 107 and in the corridor outside there was a leak from the ceiling for the duration of our 3 night stay, the water was captured in a bucket, which was regularly changed but we could monitor the increased frequency of the dripping. The stairs up to first floor smelled old, uncleaned and a couple of items of litter remained in situ for the duration of our stay. This hotel could be so much more and needs an overhaul.
The Hotel staff were outstanding and couldn't have been more helpful. The reception is manned 24 hours and the reception staff were very cheerful and helpful. The bar was excellent and well stocked and it remained open late to accommodate late arrivals. The rooms are spacious tidy and clean and I cannot recommend it highly enough
