Ibis Budget Marseille l'Estaque

My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel for a night. First and foremost, the reception staff we interacted with were exceptional. Each receptionist was more delightful than the last, and their warmth and professionalism far exceeded our expectations. While the common areas were well-maintained and clean, we did encounter several issues with our room. The key issues are as follows: Cockroach Infestation: Unfortunately, the room was infested with cockroaches. We found them on our clothes, by the curtains, and in the bathroom. This is completely unacceptable. Non-Functioning Safe: The safe in the room did not work. Unpleasant Smells: There was a distinct odor of mildew and sewer in both the room and the shower area. When we first checked in, the smell was quite overwhelming. We opened the window and, due to the non-functioning safe, took all of our valuables including our heavy laptop with us when we went out for the evening. Although the smell had diminished slightly upon our return, it was still quite strong, particularly in the bathroom. We decided to sleep with the window open, but since it was cold outside, we went to reception to request extra blankets, which unfortunately were unavailable. We then tried to use the window lock system that allows the window to remain slightly open for ventilation while preventing anyone from entering, but the lock was broken. Stains on Walls and Floor: There were several dried stains on the walls and floor that made us uneasy, as they appeared similar to those caused by bed bugs. While we did not experience any bites, we were nervous throughout the night. Photos will be provided. Unpleasant Balcony View: Although we had a partial sea view, it was marred by the sight of underwear and razors discarded on the balcony area below us. Strong Paint Odor: While the room appeared freshly painted, the odor was overwhelming and unpleasant.

Bon emplacement vue sur mer

Très bon accueil où le personnel est au petit soin pour répondre à nos demandes, literie très bonne et chambre vue mer agréable au lever du jour avec les bateaux touristique au loin rentrant dans le port. Le parking étant un atout supplémentaire , nous reviendrons.

Literie propre . CAFARDS qui grouillent partout. Murs sales .Nous sommes arrivés trop tard pour changer d’hôtel malheureusement. Il faudrait vraiment faire quelque chose. Personne très sympathique à l’accueil malgré tout…………….. A FUIR

Les conditions d’hygiènes de cet hôtel sont inadmissibles. Ma chambre était infestée de petites bêtes noires qui couraient sur le sol et venaient des plaintes des murs et ce matin j’avais un cafard dans les WC puis un dans la douche !!! C’est sans compter les détritus et squatteurs sur le parking de l’hôtel, les détritus dans l’ascenseur non entretenu, les sols de la chambre sales…. Il y avait également un groupe de sapeurs-pompiers qui au petit déjeuner m’ont fait le même constat. Leurs chambres ignobles avec des cafards !

Trés bon hotel.Trés propre.Trés bien accueillis.Personnel aimable et poli. Les chambres sont propres ainsi que les sanitaires. En ce qui concerne le petit déjeuner,il y a du choix.Cela donne envie.
