Short drive from marakesh airport(20 mins). On arrival at the Tui Medina Gardens , no need to rush and get your case off first , to be first in to get your room. Everyone is offered a drink and asked to have seat , you will be called out as per couple , to pick up your room key and towel card, this is well organised , this system should be used at other Tui hotels . Room 1304. This was very clean , compliments to housekeeping staff ,are rooms were made up daily . Only problem we had was the shower was very slippy, this was soon rectified by the reception staff and Tui rep, next day there was a rubber mat in our shower. Air con was brilliant in the room and set at 15 deg, concidering the temperature outside was 40+. We had a 3rd floor room with a balcony and a view over the pool and gardens looking towards the Koutoubia mosque, this looks amazing when lit up at night . Restaurant. This is very clean throughout , food is plentiful and varied and if you cant get a meal out of what is on offer you are just being picky . Compliments to the head chef and his team Waiting on staff are excellent and tend to your needs , Pool. Main pool is cleaned daily . Pool side beds there is about 30 beds around the main pool , if you want one off these you have to be up early to get your spot for when the beds are put out at 8am you dont want to buy in to this there are plenty of beds in the gardens. Pool activities . Fitness pool arobics volleyball etc run by 'G' & Chloe the energy these put out in leaves you in ore of them in the heat and they will jump in the pool with you to do the arobics.., this is well worth watching and entertaining. Pool side bar . Run by Mustapha ( the man , the Legend), he came up to us on our first day and introduced himself, his people skills are excellent and always has a smile for everyone and makes everyone feel very welcome. All the bar staff are excellent and have time for everyone. Nothing is to much trouble Inside bar. Bar staff are excellent and will have a laugh with you . Waiters Siad , Mohsine waited on us many times and always have time for a chat while doing their job . All the staff speak good English and will help you when trying to speak Moroccan. I have seen tons of bad reviews. They must have improved a lot recently because I did not have any essential issues. Nevertheless, I will try to give the pros and cons of this hotel -: The communication could be better and more clear, we weren't sure when to check out; Some of the equipment in the rooms could be replaced +: The staff is very polite and hospitable. There is a very, very affordable restaurant with pleasant meals. There are two inside gardens, one with a pool, both perfect for freelancing travelers like myself. The location is in a nice part of Marrakech, with many clubs and cafes, and also perhaps a 12 min walk to Kathouba and 15 to Jeema el Fna. There is also a Carrefour nearby which comes pretty handy

Very poor I would rate this 2 star resort and that too is being generous, firstly the bedding had old stains, no kettle in room, fridge did not work had to call reception 3 times for someone to eventually replace the fridge along with the air con also, food choice was not a lot and mainly Moroccan dishes would be nice to have some international food choices the restaurant was small which led to big queues which still people would push in, the tables were not cleaned properly, again for a 5 star would expected drinks to be served but you would again have to queue to get ur drinks and staff did not speak English the snack bar staff always seemed fed up with making drinks all day and the worst mojitos cocktails iv drank. The food was not the best either iv eaten into chicken that was undercooked, omelettes full of egg shells.The snack they serve between 5-6 in the very small cafeteria is ridiculous how everyone would swarm the place pushing and shoving to get a snack sometimes u would be left with nothing. The spa again for somewhere that considers its 5 star is very poor and below average. Only place you can sit and have drinks is outdoor the heat was too much wanted to sit indoors but they have no place unless you sit In reception. I think this resort is more catered for the locals than international people.
