Great hotel, great location, no sunbed wars in the morning, food good, rooms basic but only used for sleep and showers, staff are brilliant and cant wait to be back in july for another 2 weeks...pool is very good and big but doesnt have a shallow end,for a self catering hotel its bang on.

What a smashing apartments. We stayed here for 10 nights and loved it. Location absolutely perfect. Nice restaurants on the outside of the gates here. We’ve now booked again for July 24 for 2 weeks and cannot wait to be here. The man Jengus I know that’s not how it’s spelt but that’s the way it sounds is an absolute delight to sit with. He’s the man to ask for any help. Honestly it was an absolute delight to stay here. Nothing is any hassle at all with them. Very clean rooms and clean towels etc more or less every day. Tommy

Where do I honestly begin? There are no words for how amazing this hotel actually is, the staff, the food, absolutely everything. For the negative comments that I've read on here believe me when I say, I have nothing to hide that this is one of the best there is and long may that title continue. The food is top notch, cheap and absolutely yummy. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff - all simply amazing from Cengiz to Serdal they take the time to get to know your family and ensure you have a fantastic time. Location- all within walking distance and easily accessible to Marmaris. Honestly please try Sunsmile! You will never go anywhere else.

Spent the last 2 weeks here and I don’t want to go home!! It’s been fabulous, the food omg the food… so so good, Sunday dinners to die for! Cocktails are fab, everything reasonably priced. The staff though, they are amazing! Gengis & Oscar, just lovely people. We will definitely be back.

Honest review Rooms are basic and could do with a refurb in parts deffo a fresh lick of paint but then again I did arrive late season and after a full season I'm sure any room would look a little tired n need of tlc cleaners came every other day to do a general clean while bedding and towels were changed every 3 days to which I must say they did a lovely job. Apartment bar/pool staff will go out of there way to make you feel welcome the food from the restaurant is lovely and very reasonable price drinks also weren't to bad in terms of price the pool area is kept clean and staff often walk around to collect empty glasses and ask if u want anything else. On the whole I'd recommend this Apartment to anyone who wants a good self catering base near the main ***** of Armutalan again rooms are of decent size only draw back I've found is the fact the air-conditioning is only in the bedroom so living area/extra bed area get very warm

Well done Sunsmile on your No1 rating ..popped in to see you all when I was in marmaris this year..stayed here any years ago and it was a wonderful stay ... loyalty made me go back to another accommodation but always was welcomed back at sunshine. WELL DONE GUYS

second visit to this hotel rooms basic and could do with a refurbish. cleaners not as good as last year only swept our room once in two week stay. bar staff wey good. big shout out to oscar and jinges they work 14 hours a day and don't get paid well.

Great little hotel central to bars shops ect staff are very helpful toilets could do with been updated round the pool need more than one ! Also it’s quite slippery round the pool need some mats around the pools , rooms are very basic and cleaners don’t come in everyday .. overall I loved this holiday and have booked to come back next year , u pay for what u get . Food is excellent and entertainment round the pool on a night was a bit repetitive but again small businesses trying to make it work u pay for what u get , I don’t stay at hotel every night anyway so didn’t really bother me .. can’t wait to come back we had such a laugh only thing i really complained about was paying 60 pound for air con for 10 days and it’s only in the bedroom not the main room , anyway it hasn’t put me off we had a great time can’t wait to go back

honest review of stay at sunsmile, food was good, access to sunbeds was also good, no early rises to obtain a sunbed, staff friendly enough, quite slippy around pool area, only negatives are the non existent air con in living room, had to hire fan but was useless, can’t expect someone to sleep in that heat, is inhumane, the cleaners didn’t do much to be honest, floors were dirty, unmade beds some days, didn’t realise it was every 3 days for clean towels, but just hung out on veranda to air/dry them, unfortunately wouldn’t return, would rather pay more, stay elsewhere, but we’ve tried it
