"Cozy lobby, tasteful decor, quiet and soundproof corridors and rooms. Rooms are clean and tidy. well organmized minimalistic design. Cleaned and arranged daily. I really appreciated the clean towels and made up bed daily when returning to the room after long work days. Front desk was very pleasant and responsive to requests. Staff handled several requests very well, ranging from delivering an iron and board to the room to handling the delayed baggage delivery for us. Special Thanks to the evening server/bartender who is not only very courteus and polite, but also very friendly and welcoming, despite us not speaking Italian. He went above and beyond to make our dining experienvce very exquisite and memorable! Having said that, the breakfast and dinner options were plentiful and of very good quality and assortment. Definitely recommend to anyone travelling to Mantova whether on business or leisure. Thank you very much and keep up the great work, La Favorita!"

"Don't waste your time trying to find 'Antico Residence': this is actually the ABC Hotel. First impressions may be misleading, inasmuch as it looks rather ordinary, maybe even a bit shabby. The small bar at the front doesn't help, with the red wine on tap definitely being an acquired taste. However we ended up being very much impressed by this hotel. The room was a good size, also the bathroom; everything in order and perfectly clean. The common areas are spacious (fire safety by the way is exemplary). The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good, including hot food as well as meats, cheese, etc etc. Given the very reasonable price for our room this gave excellent value for money overall. Location is perfect for train travellers: opposite the station and only 10 minutes' walk from the historic centre of Mantua."
