"The place was fairly ok. The staff at the reception were very warm and welcoming with great customer service. The only problem was power cuts and one can recommend back up because at times it would go at very critical times when I was in the middle of a meeting or research on internet. The sound proof also leaves a lot to be desired. It needs to be improved and if it cannot maybe it should be clearly stipulated that no music is allowed. My neigbours were very noisy. In terms of value for money, I was very satisfied and would not mind coming back again with my family for holiday."

"Mhlati Guest Cottages were gorgeous! My room was huge with a large bathroom and small attached kitchen. It had coffee (instant and filter), tea and real milk! The breakfast was made to order and delicious. The cottages are located less than 2 km from the gate to Kruger. Just a perfect night before starting a safari!"

"Jane is extremely accommodating to whatever request you have. Whether it be late check in's, meals or arrangements at the chalets, nothing is ever too much effort for her. I would highly recommend staying here. Also, really close to the entrance to the Malelane entrance to Kruger park so is convenient to stay. "

"Stayed at the newly renovated lodge and couldn't praise it more. The rooms are bigger than before and the layout has changed with the rooms having everything you need (inclding small touches like fresh milk and cafetiere). However, the star attraction is the lodge balcony which reaches out to the river, where you can sit and eat breakfast or dinner - or just relax with the free to use binoculars. On arrival there were elephant and hippos just roaming below. There is an abundance of wildlife for you to view roaming by. The meals were first class and Johan with his team make sure you are taken care of. The final bonus is the short drive to Malalane gate for quick access to Kruger for self drive or Eswatini is a simple drive away."

"This is such a perfect place to stay if you are visiting the Kruger National Park. The lodge is situated circa 1.5km from the Malelane gate entrance. The rooms are really spacious with a large walk-in shower and extremely comfortable beds. WI-FI and air-con works perfectly in the room. There's a safe and they have a great selection of TV channels. I was there when the 2026 football World Cup was on!! Breakfast is fantastic, the restaurant menu is extensive, go for the belly pork or prawns!!! they are exceptional dishes! The staff are so friendly and helpful, they cannot do enough for you. As I was a solo traveler, I felt extremely welcomed here. I cannot recommend this lodge highly enough 10/10. Keep up the great work. I'm sure I will return again sometime "
