This was for the domestic flight portion of W. Aisha who received us was great. Perhaps due to lower occupancy we took quite an early seaplane back to the airport and had a 7h layover.

It would have been a 2-3 star review as the first 24 hours wasn’t quite what we were hoping and it’s safe to say that the rooms will benefit from the imminent closing and refurbishing. It is a 5 star review however as problems in life are inevitable and it is how you deal with them. I have to say Claire Gruel and Steven Schmid were impeccable in their professionalism and made sure our 9 days in W was truly fabulous, which it was. The rest of the staff were incredible and too many to mention. We shall look forward to returning again in the future.

We liked everything - service, our villa, food and very nice house reef! We saw turtles, famous big bird George, who was very friendly. We also had massage treatment which was very relaxing and after infused us energy. We do recommend to come and have a fantastic vacation here!

Quite a good experience. The staff are really nice and friendly and the service is good. There’s a wonderful view and a wide range of activities such as scuba diving, snorkeling with nurse sharks etc. there’s a lot of different restaurants with different cuisines. lol

Difficult to know where to start. So many things have been said in previous reviews so no point in repeating. From the moment you land it’s seamless. Aisha - who was outstanding and calming at the airport. Meeting us at arrivals and dealing with our luggage. Use of a business lounge whilst we waited for our sea plane. Overwater room - so private but backing on to a reef and open sea. See pictures. The island is tranquil, limited number of people, surrounded by a healthy reef. We swam numerous times with large turtles and sharks. Great bar - Sipp to watch the sunsets. Food options - plenty. Fish, Flame and Kitchen. All outstanding. Complimentary snorkel equipment. The excursions - so many to choose from. Manta and Nursery Sharks were a must. But the best thing - the people. It’s wrong to highlight individuals but; Clare - attentive throughout. Areen and John (Aquaman) in the restaurants - but also so many tips of what and what not to do. Vivian (The Boss) - brilliant at Fish. Retno - such a hard worker everywhere. Noor - so friendly every day. Abdullah (Hogan) - our daily cleaner, day and night. Just a brilliant job. Every time we came back to the room it was almost like New. Our feeling before the trip was “Once in a lifetime”. The resort is going through refurbishment this summer, and will be re-launched later in the year, and we may return to see what it’s like. Probably not for so long next time, but even on a nine day trip, the time just flew by. Tears will be shed as we leave today !!

Beautiful resort - house reef is amazing, service is excellent. Only thing we found lacking was the food - not many vegetarian options and while the breakfast was great, flavors of many of the dishes left a lot to be desired. (Especially given the price.) Would like to single out Areen for great dinner service and the women who take care of seating at breakfast! (Wish there were name tags!)
