I stayed here for one week with my mum. From arrival at the hotel, the staff were very friendly and helpful both in reception and in the restaurant at breakfast time. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds very comfortable. The location, on one of the main streets in Malaga, made this an excellent place to stay. I would definitely stay here if visiting Malaga again.

Went to the roof top bar lounge in the AC for a drink and look at the view of Malaga. Firstly where do I start they don’t mention to people that it’s a €10 entry fee but if you’re a Marriott member it’s €8. There can be a bit of a line if you’re a non resident at the hotel but it moves fast soo wouldn’t worry too much. We were ushered to the lift which brought us up to a beautiful view of Malaga, the entry fee will cover a €10 drink off their menu. As observed by myself, multiple guest of the hotel having to send drinks back due to the amount of syrup being added to them causing them according to one guest “this is soo strong I could get diabetes”. I thought being a Marriott it would be of somewhat a high quality experience for guests and I was willing to pay for this experience. However this is where it was more a sub power experience, our drinks were awful and upon requesting a bottle of wine instead of the “craptails” we were told that the seating area was no longer available to any guests there unless you wanted to dine which required a reservation. May I add that the restaurant was dead I think three couple were dining at the time. The experience as a whole was poor and I would recommend setting up a Marriott account and saving yourself €2 per person as it’s only worth €4 at a push even with a drink of sugar syrup included. On top of the the waiter continued to shout across the bar when taking orders from a couple and even when their order arrived it was wrong and had to be sent back from my observations 3 times to the stage they had to offer it for free to the guest.

It is a good stay for a solo trip. The location is perfect, close to travel destinations, and the room is spacious, very clean, and bright. There is a bakery on the ground floor where the bread is tasty, but the swimming was not open in April during my stay, anyway I am very satisfied with this booking.
Checked in to Malaga Vibes for one night before heading to Marbella with family. Very impressed on a whole I must say, the rooms are aesthetically spot on, spotless and very modern, offerings of bio toothbrushes and new iPhone usb port chargers next to each bedside table, a fantastic tv feature wall and cool shower and toilet! The rooftop pool is an added bonus to the property and was a great time. This hotel opened 4 months ago and is sitting at a 3 star, id be surprised if it stays at 3 next year, 4 star every day of the week. Guillermo on the reception was very pleasant and helpful as we arrived late and missed service for food in many places he helped us order some food which is always good as some hotel staff can’t be bothered to help. Very impressed on a whole and pleasantly surprised!!
The Travelodge Malaga Airport is a 3 star hotel with 114 luminous and comfortable rooms in the heart of the Costa del Sol. It has all the amenities for your business trips, and the location is great for those who prefer to enjoy a leisure getaway.
You can also bring your pet with you for a surcharge of 20 euros per stay. At the Travelodge Málaga Airport, we would love to offer you and your pet the best possible experience.
The hotel has its own parking, 2 meeting rooms and a restaurant where you can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine.
It is located 2 minutes from Malaga Costa del Sol Airport and 10 minutes drive from the city centre. The nearest beach is Sabana, just a 10-minute drive away, and accessible by public transport at the hotel entrance. The Palacio de Congresos is also just a 10-minute drive away.

I just stayed in the Campanile Malaga airport and would not recommend it.Firstly it is not as near the airport as the Campanile claim. The other airport hotels most of which i have used over the years are more easily accessed. The hotel is positioned near retail park on the outskirts of Malaga past the airport with no direct route to the airport. My taxi this morning Jan 2023 to the airport was 18 euros compared to for example the Budget Ibis or Hilton Garden village which average 8/ 10 euros. On the map it does look like the campanile is the closest hotel to the airport but it is not. The hotel is in what could only be called a small compound behind a retail park for ref. look for BIGASSOFA store and the hotel is in a dark back street behind it . The hotel appears to have limited secure parking but you can park on the street outside. The rooms are small compared to say the Ibis and have limited light and fresh air as the window at least in the small room we were allocated which was of the reception and down a corridor with no windows, stained carpet in corridor and through two fire doors. The small beds were clean, bathroom ok but could do with some remedial work. The hotel seems to have adopted the name Restaurant Campanile Malaga airport. The restaurant was not open and we were told by receptionist is not open at the weekends She advised us we could get food early evening at the retail park. The restaurant is a small area of the small reception which also houses a group of chairs and a TV which was continually showing silent football games when we were there. The receptionist informed us the ground floor rooms were the quietest rooms in the hotel. The room we were in was not quiet. The room next door had definitely more than 2 adults in it playing music loudly and screaming at tv from shortly after we arrived to the early hours of morning. The receptionist asked them twice to keep it down but was basically ignored. This resulted in us getting 2/3 hours sleep before our early morning Ryan Air flight. Overall a really bad experience and i would strongly recommend using any of the other airport hotels most of which are literally 5 mins on a direct main road to the airport terminal.
The hotel is located just 100dyers away from the airport but if you are with luggage, you will have to take a taxi that will cost you anywhere between 15 and 20 euro. If it’s Saturday evening you will pay 20. In fact, it’s the most expensive taxi in the world, as we paid 20 euro for a dive of 1000 meters, and that’s with official taxi ! Completely rip off so if you can, just avoid staying at the airport hotel.
Regarding this hotel, it’s of very poor quality. They claim that windows are sound proof but it’s not the case. The hotel is located between two very busy highways, so the noise is like you are siting on the side of a highway.
The beds are very uncomfortable and pillows are impossible to sleep, the management Shiism try to sleep on this pillow one night and treat a neck pain next morning.
The room is very hot and air is dry ( even if you try to control he temperature in the room ) it doesn’t se to work and you can not open the window for fresh air because of the enormous noise that comes from highway. So either bring the earplugs with you and ask the opposite side ( not facing the highway)
The only positive point: the rooms are quite spacious and the shower is ok too ( even though it just has a curtain instead of normal door you would expect in the shower)
Would not recommend staying there, and for the price of 20 euros for taxi you are better off staying at a better hotel closer to Malaga, with more comfort.
VviequeFuimos tres personas.
stayed in a 6 man dorm, with 1 shower/ toilet. Bunkbeds were well built. Did not notice when person over me moved in bed. each bunk had a poweroutlet and usb outlet. and a storage unit to put cellphone, keybards etc. However I was missing a small readinglight and privacy curtains. One of the better bathrooms in a dorm. clean and well maintained. Shower had a rainfall shower, with plenty of hot water and pressure. Toiletstall was big and spacious. not one of those who give you a claustrofobic nightmare. Spacious lockers next to entrance, not under bed as often found. Was really quiet to use. No metal or squeezy noise while using them to bother other guests. AC was working well. remote placed close to door, for guests to regulate. Keycards used for room, and entrance after midnight. Staff was friendly and polite. Good location for hostel. breakfast was like 8EUR, was decent.
The hotel is lovely as is the service. This is our 3rd year returning to this hotel for 3-4 nights for the last of the summer sun in October. In fact we are staying at the hotel now. We have always booked a Deluxe room and been pleased with it. It has been a large room exactly matching the description of a Deluxe room on their website. This year we have been placed in a tiny room with a small corner shower with a balcony overlooking the street. It is far smaller than the hotels description of a Deluxe room and compared with the rooms we have stayed in previously. In fact, we have previously booked a standard Premier room for one of our children which was bigger than the Deluxe room we have been allocated. Having queried the room with the hotel I have been advised that the room has been designated as being Deluxe because it has a balcony. There is no mention of this on their website and so feel disappointed as we're being charged for a Deluxe room that is not bigger than a Premier room. Something I would suggest potential customers are aware of if choosing to stay here. There was no recognition when checking in that we are returning customers which would have been good customer service and expected for a 5 star hotel. It's a nice hotel but I am disappointed with the room this year which has not met our expectations.
ผผู้เข้าพักAs nice as it looks I wouldn’t bother it wasn’t comfortable and worth the money 1.0 Liked · Even though the property was in a great location it was very noisy. The windows didn’t seem very insulated for sound. The street cleaning that started about 3 to 4 o’clock at night outside the apartment with a jet washer woke me up every night. As lovely as it is to church bells outside don’t expect to go to sleep in the afternoon or have a nap as they will wake you up. Disliked · I booked a room with a double bed and emailed previous to arrival to make sure this was going to be without a response from the email I ended up with two single Beds together. This is something I definitely didn’t want as it made it uncomfortable to sleep with a partner slipping down with Centre. Also I paid for early check-in I need to find that was pending once I got to the property. Once contacting someone regarding this the cleaners turn up to clean the property before we could get in why was this option available when it wasn’t available. Granted I had my €15 returned to me nevertheless waiting in the street for over an hour before accessing the apartment was pretty poor with bags. Also there was no rubber on the sink plug which was unable me to fill the sink to wash up. The apartment came with the kitchen small but useful. But being unable to wash up for 3 to 4 days made it pretty pointless and having smelly dishes and having to eat out an extra expense again was very poor. The owners told me that they had fixed the problem with the sink how would they know they were never there I fixed the problem with the sink by seeing the cleaners cleaning and apartment and they swapped over the plug. And if you are expecting to get good sleep at the apartment forget that. as nice as it is to have the street washed every night and hear church bells. Please be assured this will keep you awake at night no and in the afternoon so your sleep will be broken As my stay left me very tired. Once confront in the owners after the state for a refund they denied all accountability.
Really enjoyed the vibe to this hostel. Staff were good and helpful, 2.50 breakfast was a bonus before going off for the day. The hostel is in a great destination, Bang in the city centre, it's great if you don't fancy going clubbing but like listening to music all night as your room is wedged between bars . All people seem friendly and down to earth even the stereotypical jesus look alike hostel dossers The rooms were spacious but it's like a knocking shop with the amount of people who come and go Your not allocated a bed you just get On one that is made up. The beds were comfy although when your on the top bunk the beds wobble and after a few jars 🍻 it's like your on a boat. The showers were a bit of a sh*t hole there was mould and no where to hang my clothes so they had to hang on the door knob to avoid going in the pool of water on the floor . Taps hanging off sinks, floor tiles missing, damp on roof but That's only a minor issue. Proper hostel, like the place and for the price I got it it was a bargain. Will return again. Great experience
