ลานาไทยวิลลา(Lana Thai Villa Mae Rim)

Had a great time at Lana Thai Villa. The best parts: Sitting out at the sala in the morning and evening; was so peaceful, hearing nothing but the birds, and looking at the beautiful grounds surrounding me. The room was large and clean with nice bright windows and lots of natural light, but with black out curtains so you didn't need to get up at crack of dawn. You couldn't use the main pool, but the private pool (although quite 'refreshingly' cool), was absolutely beautiful and we never saw anyone but our family there. Amazing. And finally, the grounds of the Four Seasons were gorgeous and felt very safe as well. The worst parts: Really nothing to report here! The parts that were just OK: the mattress was really hard, to the point that it made sleeping through the night a no-go. Apparently, that's common in Thailand, but at the other 2 hotels/resorts we stayed at we didn't experience this. We had 2 rooms: the AC worked perfectly in one, but the other one couldn't get as cool as we would have liked during the day. Was fine at night when it naturally cooled down. The shower in the larger room with the sala was also a bit awkward to use. No big deal, just don't expect a 4 or 5 star hotel bathroom experience. I love a great shower on vaycay after a day out, but that was a no-go here. Finally, we tried to book a Four Seasons tour, but as we weren't guests they wouldn't book us. I didn't think that would be an issue, so we had some last minute scrambling to find a replacement tour. Nothing against Lana Thai as they are clear they aren't the 4 Seasons, but just something to keep in mind that you don't have access to their concierges or tours.

We stayed the Lana Thai Villa’s “Chinese Room” which was beautiful, spacious with Chinese woodcraft wardrobe, double sinks, separate shower & toilet, study area and a private terrace where our generous continental breakfast was served including warmed bakeries, freshly squeezed juice n delicious beautifully-cut tropical fruits. The villa is within the Four Seasons Chiangmai resort, so we can use the beautiful resort grounds with exquisite pavilions, infinitive pools amid rice paddy fields. There’s a farmer parade everyday at 5pm. This amazing place is a truly a memorable place to unwind n recharge with impeccable service from their attentive staff! If you can bear to leave the resort, all that central ChiangMai have to offer is also an easy half-hour $10 Grab ride away. There are so many charming n artistic cafes n restaurants. We also enjoy the skywalk at the Botanic Garden and a nearby visit to a beautiful waterfall and wished we bought our swimsuits along.

In 2 words: "Small paradise", made of scenic views on surrounding mountains, rice fields and luxuriant gardens... Relaxing, quiet environment, with warm welcome from the staff. Efficient service to organize sightseeing visits, Handcraft tours, and even good hints and booking for an extended range of restaurants. The 3 rooms with Chinese, Balinese, and Burmese themes are incredibly beautiful and comfortable. Attached Patios and Sala Thai... for resting and breakfast are amazing areas to enjoy nature or... work remotely as well. You can even take advantage of the "Four Seasons" hotel compound, with Swimming pools and other activities for youngest and oldest residents. A magnificent place to discover with the whole family or friends. Eager to go back again :-) !...

這是我們第三次來蘭那泰式賓館住了，住的和以往一樣開心。中式套房是我們的最愛，我們大部分的時間都是在美麗寧靜的sala度過的，在這涼爽安靜的地方聽着鳥兒們嘰嘰喳喳的叫聲，一動不動的坐在墊子上，看着自己心愛的書，真是一种放松自己的絕佳方式。在這裏的每一分鐘都是如此完美，以至於5天的假期一晃而過。酒店的服務員，Khun Nui一如既往的好客，把我們照顧的很好，他給我們買來了新鮮，美味，多汁正當季的草莓。我希望不久以後我還能再來這裏。如果你要來清邁旅行，我強烈推薦你入住蘭那泰式賓館。
