"This small Motor Inn is a throwback to pre-interstate travel. The rooms are compact, yet efficiently laid out with modern amenities. We stayed in a double and the beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows. The room was very clean. The individual toiletries and towels were good quality and well stocked. The bathroom was small with no counter space - the wide windowsill and towel shelf were put into service instead. There was a wooden stand-alone "closet" and luggage rack that worked for our one night stay. The A/C cooled the room quickly after we arrived and kept it at the right temperature overnight. There was a kitchenette with sink, fridge, microwave, and well stocked coffee bar. Also an Honor Bar selection of drinks and snacks - including bottles of wine. The was a smart Roku TV that provided limited live shows. The highway traffic noise was surprisingly not too bad at night. The rooms around us were empty, so can't comment on noise from neighbors. There is not an on-site office. The codes for the digital door locks (room and ice) were emailed and worked easily. The Inn is conveniently located - a sidewalk lined mile to downtown Madison, and a 10 minute drive to I-20 with a Walmart and fast food options."

"We were very pleased with our stay here. The room was clean, well lighted and very comfortable. The area is quiet and feels safe. From the outside, I know it doesn’t look like much, but the owner acquired it in a bankruptcy and is redoing all of the rooms. The owner is very kind and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again."
