Everything was good until I discovered there is mosquito Around the table, in the room. Bite my ear lobe, arm, legs. Called the counter/front desk, they said no such service to get rid of it. No money to buy insect repellent spray ?

I book room for 3, when I came the room can only accommodate for 2 and smell very strong cigarettes. I paid extra to get 2 beds.

Sogo Hotel is located very near the huge Dau bus terminal. It is convenient if you're travelling to/from Clark Airport. I was confused about the hotel size because I saw entries on the main road and 400m almost opposite the bus station. I arrived very tired after a long flight and I had to wait 5-10 minutes to check in despite three of the four receptionists not doing much. Sogo hotel is mainly used as a "love" hotel in Philippines but the location of the Dau hotel means other travellers use it too. You may occasionally be smiled at in the lobby. The room was at the end of a long corridor, i received a soft pack of towels/sheet and a small hard pack of toiletries. The room looked utilitarian when I entered but it was clean enough. There was no headboard and the wall behind was not flat. The room had aircon switched on by default and I had to spend 5 minutes looking for the controls. The mattress was on the hard side and seemed to use lots of protection to keep it clean. There was every you needed for a sleep but the room was battered, toilet seat only was attached on one side. The shower said turn left for hot water but after waiting for 5 minutes I tried turning it to right and it worked fine. There is hot food available but I didn't really fancy it. I slept well and it was quiet, check out was easy. All in all it's a hotel that's good for utility. Filipinos should get cheaper rates for walk ins. I will still stay there due to the perfect location.

Need to improve the wifi signal it’s quiet poor. Overnight stay not totally worth it but nice room.

Front Desk Staffs not so attentive,kudos to the Supervisor(guy) forgot to get his name that handled my check in as 4 staffs on duty are just chatting with eaxh other and not really qualified enough to be in the Front Desk

staff/receptionist were welcoming and quick room’s clean but can’t bit the location just few steps at the bus depot

My wife and I always stay at this hotel. It is affordable and convenient for us. Unfortunately something usually goes wrong in this case the wifi was not good on one of our 4 days. We managed so overall stay was ok. The CR had a lealy badet I informed the staff upon departure I hope they fix it for the noext guest. These are minor inconveniences. I would like to piont out the staff and management are top notch and very professional perhaps the building itself could use some renovation that is all.

Quite noisy overall and the rooms smell bad (cigarette smoke). Staff confused our booking and wanted to give us one room only with extra charge for the third person until I had to point out that we had two rooms booked. Amenities are okay, but had an overall unsafe feeling. Okay place to stay for a night to go to the airport early the day after.

Our first time in the hotel was so good , the customer service was nice and the rooms were good we were comfortable. We recommend this hotel to our friends

Was good for the area and price conveniently located. They are very responsive over the phone. Rooms are out, but you can hear outside noise sometimes until 10pm. Over I'm gald this place is there and discounts there are available.

Location is very convenient if you're coming from the North and would want to spend few hours of rest before heading to the Clark International Airport for your flight. It's located near the Dau Bus Terminal where most buses from the north stop.
