Qiangsheng Farmhouse

The locations was the best, less than 10 minutes walking distance from the visitor centre to the wall. We had always good at the location and everything was incredible. Everyone was super welcoming and gave us very helpful tips about how to best enjoy our tour.

Very nice little hotel located near the entrance of the Great Wall (please note that there is still a little bit of walking uphill to the entrance, but for us backpackers, it was perfect! We didn't have to take a taxi to get there). There was a super nice lady (the owner?) who tried to teach us a few Chinese words and kept our bags safe while we were visiting. The restaurant is quite nice too. Would definitely recommend!

Very good value for money! Everything is clean and the beds are fine. Nevertheless there is a little bit of a smell from the douche. Hosts are very nice!

Host was super friendly and very hospitable. Started off by waiting for us outside the homestay awaiting our arrival @ 12 am at night. Drove us to and from Jinshanling. Also drove us out to beijing for another hour. Very knowledgeable and shared with us the history of the Great Wall too. Would definitely come back here on my next visit. Thank you! 😁

I would defineitely reccomend staying here for a night is you’re hiking the great wall. If you’re simply doing a day trip you’ll only get a couple of hours on the wall, but if you stay overnight you get more time to explore without all the tourists. The place is only a 10 minute walk from the entrance/shuttle, and the owner is really nice and helpful and speak a little bit of english. After a long day of hiking the staff made me dinner just as I got back, and they helped me arrange transportation back to Beijing (which could have been hard traveling back on a weekday outside peak season). Room is simple, but you definitly get your moneys worth. All in all great experience, would reccomend!

Best quality/price ratio! Only a few more meters away from Jinshanling Great Wall touriste Center than some other guesthouses, but for good. The place is calm and the owner is amazingly helpful. Plus, they have a very good restaurant!

Very pleasant stay, mainly due to the friendly and helpful owner of Qiangsheng Farmhouse. We also got served breakfast and lunch there. All very good and tasty. Recommended!

Der Aufenthalt war super! Die Lage ist super nah am Eingang zur chinesischen Mauer, so dass man bequem zu Fuß gehen kann. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und die Gastgeber sehr herzlich. Sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen wird vom Hotel angeboten und schmeckt hervorragend.
