My sister, Wendy , 2 friends, Chris , Jenny and I have just spent the past week at the Belle Rive Boutique Hotel, while on a holiday in Luang Prabang in Laos. The staff at the hotel were amazing. They were so happy, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. We ate most of our meals at the River Terrace overlooking the Mekong. We loved the staff at the restaurant and the food was delicious. Compliments to the chefs. Every time we ate at the restaurant we were greeted with the most beautiful smiles. Loved being with them all. The staff in the office were always helpful and friendly as well. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean, spacious and had a lovely veranda overlooking the mighty Mekong River. The girls who cleaned our room were lovely, efficient and always had smiles on their faces. I couldn’t fault the beautiful Belle Rive Hotel. Thank you to everyone at this hotel for the best stay I have ever had. To me people make my holiday. I’ll be back. Sally Woods from Australia

Room does not have TV, and the room phone does not work. Room space is small. Breakfast and location are excellent! We were surprised by the complimentary sunrise cruise provided.

We would certainly stay here again. Very nice staff. Excellent location next to Mekong. Included breakfast made to order was very nice. They didn’t mention included ******* credit until last day after I flagged that to ******* so only able to use a portion of it.
Note that they do not respond to messages sent via ******* site/app.

Having breakfast at riverside restaurant.

If you are lucky enough to spend a few days in Luang Prabang, please treat yourself by staying at the Belle Rive. Super lovely- great location (on the Mekong River) and within walking distance to the morning and night markets, numerous Wats, fabulous shops with ethically sourced handicrafts, restaurants, cooking schools, great food (restaurant offers a great view of the sunsets on the River), and really wonderful customer service. They helped us book all of our day trips and everything was simply charged to our room. Definitely visit the Kuang Si Waterfalls along with the Free the Bears rescue center.
