It is a good hotel without any particular fault. However, they only provide 30 minutes of Wi-Fi and tell you to pay GBP3 to buy it if you need it. No matter how little it is, I still feel bad. I'd rather spend that money on hotel fees in advance. If you use such a strategy of including and providing unlimited Wi-Fi, the company will also benefit from I think it would be good for all the guests as well. I think this hotel is not very pleasant because of the Wi-Fi. However, the female employee named ANA who works at the restaurant there is very good at cooking. I would like to praise you for being kind.

Sarah Dacey 1/5 a week ago on Google This place should be shut down. Upon your arrival you are instantly locked out as this is not a manned place. I can’t even call it a Hotel. You literally have to wait for somebody to let you in, Within an hour if you’re lucky. The room!!! My god. I’ve had better camping trips. On opening the room door (after a 50 minute wait outside and a 5 hour drive ) we were met with a dirty quilt left rolled up on a disgustingly dirty bed ( hair and filth all over it ). There were wet used towels and dirty bedding left on the side table. No one was available to do anything about it. They do not cook breakfast ( not that I would eat there ) so that’s a complete lie and you’re paying for it. The blinds on the windows have been fitted by Stevie Wonder and don’t open or close. The place is run down and generally filthy. The water is constantly freezing cold and your unable to shower. Even the electric was off. So at times we had cold water with no electricity. The owner is the most disgusting and rude person I’ve ever met and will not converse or do anything about your situation. PLEASE DON’T BOOK HERE. You’d be better off sleeping in your car. !!! It’s vile and unsafe. I paid £800 for an executive room for 7 days to be close to my partner who had an operation in a local hospital. NEVER EVER EVER AGAIN. You will be ignored by anyone that occasionally works there. A DISGRACEFUL EXPERIENCE!!! The 1 stars I have given it are actually minus 10 and more. 1 star is way too good for the place. I booked the hotel through secret escapes as a surprise for my wife’s birthday,on arrival she commented how lovely the hotel was,we was early so we went into town,when we got back, we were given the keys to one of the cottage rooms ,we were very disappointed to have paid so much for our stay and to have been put in an accessible room (disabled) when there were clearly other rooms available. We were tired after our drive and walk out so we got showered and went for a drink in the bar,my wife asked for a cocktail and the bartender said he hadn’t had the training yet but made one for her anyway,he then left the bar and another young bartender came over and was talking to us about the hotel etc and a senior gentleman came over and said to him,come with me I want you to do something else,this was as I was about to order my drink and half way through conversation with him,so we got up and went in for dinner,we ordered a bottle of Sauvignon for around £32, the waiter put it in the ice bucket with lid on and walked away,surely I should of been asked to taste the wine,we then had to pour our own drinks for the rest of dinner,the wine itself was very poor and not worth the money paid,I’m not normally one to moan but I think £262 for a night in an accessible room for my wife’s birthday wasn’t good enough,the staff at the reception were excellent but waiters at dinner need to brush up on there service skills ,even at breakfast,we were asked if we wanted tea or coffee and had to remind the young lady 3 times as she kept forgetting

The staff was very nice and the whole place was full of young people. It definitely is a youth hostel and the place isn’t as big as other ones so it’s not super loud. Although the stairs are a little loud so that might wake you up. We stayed in a private room with bunk beds and they gave you towels and the shower was pretty good. The room was small as to be expected but it definitely wasn’t worth $180 a night when you could just pay for a bigger hotel room. The location was nice right by Hyde park and some free museums.

A beautiful surprise! This place is utterly stunning from when you walk i, I stayed here on a whim for a business trip really not expecting much. Walked into my room and it was like my own mini apartment! Super cosy bed and pillows I slept ever so well, All high spec (plugs with usbs all over top), super clean, really well Located too! Certainly a place I’ll be staying at in the future.

Stayed here with family while visiting Chessington theme park. The hotel is located in nice quite part with beautiful views. The staff were brilliant and very helpful. Staff recognised my membership status and explained all benefits. The room had few stains but overall was comfortable. Note the place has no restaurant or anything at walking distance but few local places offer delivery. Breakfast was unfortunately a bit letdown for us 2 days in a row as the hash browns were cold and croissants not warm! Being vegetarian that were the options I went for as didn’t have much choice. Thankfully good coffee machine so had lovely cappuccino. I will however stay again more for the great staff and the location of the hotel.

Worth to book a stay on this accommodation. Very proximal to the train station and cheap for a night stay. 30-45 mins away from central london. The room arrangement is very authentic and cozy with complete amenities needed. I haven’t tried their in-house menus since I am on a budget but over-all I am satisfied. Might book another night soon if I will go back to London. Cheers!

Stayed many times in this Hotel around 4 years ago due to high standards of staff and service. Unfortunately although the staff are still very professional and also friendly, the room standards have certainly dropped. You now have an empty space where the fridge used to be, sticks are provided instead of tea spoons for tea/coffee. Tissues run out after three uses, cupboard doors not aligned correctly so had to force shut. Under bed found sweet, dust and paper. Had to clean mirror, as it obviously had been wiped over with a dirty cloth and left to dry. Prices substantially increased since pandemic I believe. Not what it was, hopefully just a blip and situation will improve as all other facilities including restaurant and location are excellent.

If you're looking for a hotel to visit London, this is not the one. To give you an idea : Piccadilly Circus is about 1.5 hours to walk and about 45 minutes by taxi (expensive) and, if you're lucky, about the same by public transport (a mixture of walking, bus and tube... and a pain!) That said, if you need a hotel in this particlar area – which is actually nearer to Fulham than Sloane Square, then you could do much worse. The welcome was genuinely warm and we were made to feel appreciated. Despite checking in the previous day via the Hilton app., no room could be allocated, so we had to check in again at the front desk. The check in staff was charming and efficient and her trainee status was not evident. Our 6th floor room, well away from the renovation noise on the 1st floor felt, however, like a downgrade from the 'Queen' room we'd booked, as it had a double bed in it (150cm) – like Hampton Inns, which Hilton class as 2 categories below Doubletree. For Diamond members – who can expect room upgrades “up to a one bedroom suite” - this could be a disappointment. Queen beds are usually 160cm, doubles 150cm. If this hotel is selling doubles as queens, then I personally think this is a bit naughty of them. Also, despite the hotel stating that their 1st floor renovation work does not start before 9 a.m., they do not mention that the massive building project which half-encircles the hotel, starts well before this time and is constant throughout the day and, by the look of things, is destined to last for a long time yet. The room was clean, the bed comfortable although narrow and, apart from a few stains, the room was adequat for a one or two night stay. I wouldn't like to stay longer, as the bathroom is even smaller than a Hampton Inn – there's nowhere to put a toilet bag and nowhere to hang used towels. The shower unit is the same style as in Hamptons but much smaller than most. The toilet seat was loose and so was 'interesting' when using it, several plug sockets in the room did not work and the a/c and TV turned themseves off several times during our stay. Otherwise the room was well designed, with enough mirrors, work surface, chair, safe etc. and fridge that gets things cold enough – if you are willing to wait about 18 hours, that is! Don't expect a good sleep – the doors are not sound-proofed and are paper-thin. Room doors are also constantly 'banging' shut due to the spring mechanism. The lobby bar is well stocked but has slighly frightening prices. We didn't try the restaurant – choosing a Middle-Eastern restaurant 5 minutes' walk away – but the food we saw looked to be well-presented and seemed to be of the fast food type. The breakfast was, to be totally frank, extremely disappointing. The quality was good but the choice was extremely poor for a Doubletree and, in comparison to the maybe 30 or 40 Doubletrees I've stayed in, is by far the worst breakfast 'spread' I've seen to date. I don’t usually stay in Ibis hotels but this one is like no other ibis hotel I’ve stayed at. From the laid back informal reception area to the contemporary rooms this was a good overnight stay. I appreciated the welcome cookies. The room was spacious but clearly designed for short stays in regards to storage space. There’s USB ports by the bedside. The bathroom has a shower, no bath and good to see the body soap and shampoo in dispensers rather than individual plastic bottles. The water though was only luke warm. The Wi-Fi signal was excellent. Location is excellent in the centre of town and just a few minutes walk to the station. The restaurant menu was limited but adequate for most tastes. My only complaint was the pulsing noise of the bathroom extractor fan which is independent of the air conditioning in the room and not able to switch off.
