The hotel does have a few positives, the cocktails are excellent, the staff generally friendly, and the location quite convenient for exploring the city (though far from trains and metro). Unfortunately, that’s where the good ends.
Attention to detail for a high end hotel was lacking.
Finding the car park was a nightmare: it’s on a split level, two floors below the lobby, and even has a different address. For someone unfamiliar with the area, it’s an utterly confusing and stressful experience. Including clear directions or the car park address in the booking confirmation would save guests a lot of trouble.
The rooms are not soundproof, and if you happen to get one near the lift, be prepared for a night of constant noise and disturbed sleep. The view from my room was also dismal, directly facing someone else’s balcony, which meant the blinds had to stay closed for privacy.
And then there’s the Wi-Fi, which was slower than a snail crossing a puddle in winter. I reported it to the help desk, but nothing was resolved. If you plan to get any online work done, even something as simple as editing a photo, set aside a few extra hours.
Overall, while the staff and cocktails may lift the experience slightly, the numerous practical issues make it hard to recommend this hotel.

The hotel was perfect except I was assigned to a room right underneath the restaurant and may be nearby to the hotel’s housekeeping room. It was so much noise from 6am till 11pm every night. I stayed there for 4 nights and did not have good sleep at all. Avoid room 310.

Excellent service, excellent breakfast. Very nice rooftop bar. Hotel offers lots of small but nice surprises, from welcome letter to farewell chocolates.
