Everything was fantastic from the room to the impeccable service. We loved everything. We recommend this hotel to everyone we know making a trip to Lisbon.

Superb location beside the castle. Lots of uphill walking back to the hotel each day but worth it!

You want to be in decent shape if you’re walking, or use Uber to navigate the hills.

Everyone was so very friendly and knowledgeable. The property is like a fairytale that came true. It was such an amazing traveling adventure to stay on the castle grounds. Yes, I will be returning to Lisbon and staying at this lovely place. Obrgiada💕💕💕

I don't feel very well today. The staff gave me some paracetamol and they looked out for me.

This is a very charming and unique hotel, located just next to the castle. Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is excellent for many attractions of Lisbon. It’s a pleasant though uphill walk to reach the place (alternatively, taxis can access but not uber due to the historic district).

The front reception was great. The staff that put out the breakfast was also great.

The staff is amazing and respects privacy. The complimentary breakfast and snacks all day we a great addition to a long day of sight seeing. The facilities were impeccable and clean. Rooms are updated and they even provided charging stations. The hotel is an extension of the castle and feels like you are in the era. Love the surroundings of original structures. Restaurants are very close and food is amazing. There are beautiful peacocks everywhere which adds to the serenity of the place. Highly recommend staying here and worth every euro!!!

I loved this place. Here's a partial list of why: Beautiful and unique location, great welcome and support from the staff during our stay, lovely terrace, cool mini-museum in the basement, little events like a glass of sparkling of coffee on the terrace, comfy room with a killer view.

The room was great, double sink and sunken tub next to the shower, elevator was nice, but the breakfast, ahh the breakfast was great, staff was very helpful and even helped book local activities. Definitely would stay again. Lots of sights within walking distance.

The location snug against the Castelo walls requires a wee bit of walking, but so worthwhile! Quaint, charming, quiet, friendly, accommodating, comfy refuge from Lisboa hustle-bustle, but easy to walk, taxi, bus, trolley anywhere. Breakfast buffet was bountiful and yummy with fish, meats, cheese, eggs, cereals, jams, breads, pastries, and peacocks in the courtyard. There are several restaurants and shops within a 5" walk. Great choice for couples looking for conversations over complimentary port.
