What a wonderful stay! Everything from the check in process, breakfast buffet, service and cleanliness was amazing. However, what made our experience a fantastic one was the people. Vania at the reception desk and Oscar at the 18th floor club were beyond awesome! They were very attentive, anticipated our needs and wants, provided great suggestions and followed thru on all requests. It was because of them that we decided to come back for our final stay in Lima. Would highly recommend this hotel for your next stay in Lima!
Excellent!!! At so many levels First: customer service is outstanding and honestly this is surpassed North America (specifically Canada). Friendly, professional and accommodating. They got us the room early -1:00 pm with special thank you to Diana who helped us with that and with late check out at 2:00 as our flight is quite late (11 pm). Room are contemporary, clean and spacious (Pullman became our favourite hotel chain). Once cute note: they had small bathrobe for our 5 years old 😍 We just arrived to this location and will update my review to reflect the area experience.
Reservé 2 habitaciones standard para año nuevo 2024, una con cama matrimonial para mi hijo y para mí, y la otra con 2 camas. Y al momento de la reserva especifiqué que necesitaba que estén una al lado de la otra, o exactamente al frente. Cuando hice check in, fuimos a las habitaciones y la mía era cama doble y encima no estaban al frente, felizmente la señora de recepción pudo solucionar pero estuvimos bastante rato esperando. Luego, a las 5y30pm aprox llamo a Room Service para pedir la cena de mi hijo, me contesta un chico y me toma el pedido. Pasa 1 HORA, llamo para saber cuánto más iba a demorar y un señor de restaurante de muy mala manera me dice que no tiene ningún pedido y que no era su problema porque él acababa de entrar a turno. Me pareció una pésima atención y pésima forma de resolver un problema. Obviamente tuve que volver a hacer el pedido y esperar más, pero dejó mucho que desear la respuesta de su personal del restaurante e hizo que me amargue el momento. Finalmente, en recepción a la hora del check in preguntamos si Room Service atendería normal hasta las 11pm, nos dijo que sí. Cuando nos fueron a dejar la comida de mi hijo, volví a preguntar al mozo y me dijo que ya no tomaban pedidos porque estaban con la cena buffet. Entonces nos iban a dejar sin cena a mi familia y a mí, ya que al estar con un niño pequeño él ya iba a dormir y yo no iba a poder salir al restaurante. Después de insistir, accedió a tomarnos el pedido pero tenía que ser en ese momento (siendo 7pm, comida llegó 7y20) y lamentablemente tuve que cenar comida fría ya que recién pude hacerlo después de dormir a mi hijo a las 8y30pm aprox. Realmente no volvería al hotel por tener tantas malas experiencias en 1 solo día de estadía.
The Beds were wonderful especially after a long day of excursions. The staff were top notch and so helpful. We arrived very late and they were very quick with the check in. I was able to also book another room at the last minute with no issues. Breakfast was very good and the wait staff were lovely and quick to fill your coffee. The breakfast consisted of fresh omelets, French toast and pancakes, everything was fresh. Quick note Loved the bread pudding!!
This hotel was great. We stayed here twice, before and after some tours of the Amazon and Cusco. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. The outlets accommodated American plugs which was helpful. Breakfast was good. It allowed us to have things we were comfortable with while also trying something new. I would definitely stay here again. I just wish it wasn't such a long ride from the airport. About 45 min to an hour depending on traffic.
We had stayed at another Hilton the previous time we came to Lima, but after staying at the Double Tree, we will only return to this hotel. The location is perfect, the hotel is beautiful, and it has a full gym you can use that provides you with water and a towel when you go. And what really sold it for us was the outstanding customer service. Everyone was incredible, but three people went above and beyond for us. Angel from the hotel restaurant provided top-notch service every morning to us. Also, Alondra from the front desk spent so much time with us, helping us set up our tours to ensure we had a fantastic time. She always had a smile on her face and we never felt like she was bothered by us. On the contrary, she was always happy to help and willing to go the extra mile to provide excellent customer service. Also, the person that provided service to our room was terrific (unfortunately, I can’t remember his name). Every day he wanted to make sure we had what we needed. We had an amazing experience and we will be coming back to this hotel over and over again as long as we continue to get the same experience.
This was my second trip to Peru and I am so happy that I decided to treat myself to the JW Marriott in Lima. The facilities are BEAUTIFUL- especially the gym and sauna. All of the staff are also wonderful, but I was really impressed with Andrea at the front desk and Jose in the restaurant. These two were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and truly went above and beyond to provide the best service possible and help make my stay comfortable and perfect. Thank you JW, I will be back!
ผผู้เข้าพักI am currently staying at the hotel and it has been a great experience so far. I have a neck/back issue and as requested for differenr pillow, they promptly offered me so many options. Also, when I inquired about some techniaclities in the room, never did I get someone from maintenance so fast as I did here, someone immediately came to support me. Moreover, the breakfast is fantastic, the staff is so friendly and the room is really modern and functional, nothing like depicted by previous reviews. As a Platinum IHG member I am used to having great experiences and they offered the same high level of service.
PPauliusIt was a lovely place to spend a night. Room was much bigger than what we expected, it was modern, clean and comfortable. Great, safe location and close to airport bus pickup point. They also have nice system for leaving your baggage after checking out which was lovely. All in all, we would happily stay here again if we’re ever back in Lima.
ผผู้เข้าพักHotel was centrally located in Miraflores. It was within walking distance from all grocery stores and parks. The hotel was clean and comfortable. It did not smell like smoke. Lilly at the front desk was very professional and kind. Check in was effecient. I was able to check in early. I felt safe traveling alone. There was a security guard/bellman always on duty. Great place to stay and affordable!
Rooms clean, neighborhood safe, and the service was perfect. Staff found a way to help me at every turn. They had a bike for me to use which was great..lots of good bike paths near the ocean. They had a metro card for me to use. They arranged taxis and exchanged money of They had enough. One thing to know is the hotel.is not actually in the active area so if you want to walk around you need to take a cab or micro. Micros are wonderful. They pass in front of the hotel every minute or 2 and only cost a sole. They almost all go to kennedy park- the centre of action, arriving at kenedy within about 5 minutes. Breakfast was good, but remember to press the button on the table for service otherwise they may nit notice you. It took me a couple days to figure that out. Button method works perfect.
