"Small but nice house. Not cheap, but nothing is cheap in Lech.....My single room (with parquet flooring) was spacious enough, nice and clean bathroom. The bed has a good mattress, the duvet was too warm for me personally (but that's a matter of taste). The kettle in the room was very practical! The breakfast buffet is great! Very good selection of different things! The homemade muesli is a highlight!! I will definitely come back!"

"We felt very comfortable in this family-run hotel. Everything was perfect. The food was excellent and perfectly prepared. The breakfast buffet was more extensive than in most other hotels. The afternoon cake was always freshly prepared and delicious. The service staff was very friendly and always attentive to our needs, especially the hotel owner and his wife. The ski lifts and the town center of Lech are just a few minutes' walk away. If you don't want to carry your ski equipment every day (depending on the snow conditions), you can rent a ski and boot storage room at one of the lifts. The hotel is located on the edge of town and is in a very quiet location. In short, we would love to come back!"

"We as a group have always had a wonderful time at the hotel Sonnenburg. I have only been 6 times but the rest of the group have been coming to the hotel for at Least 14 years . They all know the owners and the ski shop personnel very well and count them as friends . The staff in the hotel are well trained , friendly and efficient, from the reception staff to the porters , waiters and cleaners . It’s a beautiful setting with ski and ski out . The food is great , especially breakfast . The dinners are varied and very tasty ."

A huge thank you to Michael and Claudia for such a warm and friendly welcome – it immediately felt like we were arriving somewhere special. Our room was beautiful, incredibly comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is fantastic for the mountains and every detail throughout the hotel is clearly cared for with great pride. The food deserves a special mention! The dinners each evening were absolutely exquisite and there was everything you could want at breakfast each day. After a day on the slopes, coming back to the hotel for homemade soup and cake was such a treat and something we looked forward to every afternoon. What truly makes this place exceptional, though, is the people. The staff are without doubt the friendliest we’ve ever met. A special shout out to Fabi, Maria, Rebecca and Hani, who were all so kind, welcoming and attentive during our stay. The spa is lovely and peaceful, and we particularly loved relaxing in the steam room after a day in the mountains. From the moment we arrived until our early departure – complete with a thoughtful packed lunch for the journey home – everything was handled with such care. We genuinely felt like part of the Hotel Haldenhof family. We loved it so much that we booked again for next year on our last night… which probably says it all. We can’t wait to return."

"Great location- ski in/out. Staff was very nice and price includes breakfast in the morning. The hotel also has a spa with steam room and sauna. It was such a treat after a day of skiing. There is also a bar for apre and they make great lattes. It is a great location as you can also walk to town for dinner and shopping."
