Our room had a fireplace and a massage chair! The entire hotel was beautiful (ski-lodge style) and they had an indoor pool.

Anytime we need to visit DHMC we always stay at Fireside Inn. Our kids love playing in the pool while we enjoy the jacuzzi.

The property is showing signs of age, but the staff are nice and the breakfast is great. The rooms are clean but a little tired. Really like the massage chairs - a nice touch.

My son has had to go to DHMC a few times and we live over 2hrs away. We always stay at Fireside (less than a 15 minute drive to DHMC with traffic). Our kids love the indoor pool and hot tub and we love that it's quiet!

The lobby and dining areas are lovely. Huge stone fireplace with real logs burning. On the opposite side, a light waterfall cascades off the stones into a coy pond in the large dining area and full complementary buffet breakfast. Same space for dinner. All lit by tasteful fairy lights. Soothing and quiet. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. The only downside was the tv was atop a large wooden tv cabinet where smaller tv used to be inside. I had to stand up to change channels. The indoor pool is small (not for swimming) but is in a large space for entertaining. Convenient off I-89 with lots of retail and restaurants nearby. Affordable. We’ll go back.

Staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. In particular, employees working the breakfast area made sure to emphasize the accessible ramps for wheelchairs and were speedy and safe with pouring coffee and clearing tables of used plates and cutlery

It was very disappointing, definitely no 4 star hotel, looking at the pictures it looks great, but goes down from there. The smell of the rugs in the hallway is the first sign, the room wasn't any better the heat in the room was turned all the way up to 85 like they were trying to dry something so i had to open the window and turn the ac on full blast just to be able to cool it down enough to breath and sleep. The bed was so worn out, you could see a huge slump in the middle of the made bed walking in the door. So sleeping in it was like sleeping on your living room padded rug. The pillows tiny worn out feather pillows. Then there was the large bugs on the wall you certainly didn't want crawling around while you were sleeping. So i had to catch and dispose of them. If it hadn't been late at night and non refundable i would have left.
