I liked the hotel, my room, and the beach was great however it had a feeling that it was descending into decrepitude. The gym was very shabby. There was no central bar or shared lounge area to mingle (temporarily closed). To get a drink I had to go into the Chinese restaurant which was then impossible to work on my laptop with a casual drink as I had intended. At breakfast it was quite possibly the worst coffee I've ever had and the eggs were also dubious. Toast was make your own but there was no toaster - only some grilling oven that would take 10 minutes to make your toast - less than ideal once you had already put your food on your plate....

Overall stay for 3N stay is Outstanding with excellent customer service and airport transport service. Great variety of breakfast buffet Highly recommended Value for money Thank you so much again 🫶

The place is historical and so huge and complete with amenities. Highly recommended for tourist .

Nice hotel... Problem is that they dont have a priority or designated parking space for checked-in guests. To be specific: they have parkings beside and infromt of the entrace lobby unfortunately if they have events or functions it is all being occupied by non check-in customers, thats becomes your problem since you have to park along the main road without lights and security. You have to wait for the event to finish at around 11:30 pm-12 mn to park your vehicle at their paking area. Ived complained about it hope they can look into it for the convenience of check-in guest who would like to rest after a whole day travel.

I bring groups to Bagued. In the future we will schedule 1 or 2 notes here after our arrival Laoag.

I booked a 2-day stay at this hotel, but I wasn’t able to proceed with my check-in due to a schedule conflict. I called the hotel, but they didn’t allow me to rebook the room. It was a disappointing experience — I’ll be more cautious about booking with this hotel in the future.

The place is outdated. Our room smelled like molds. I gave it 3 stars because all the staff was nice and friendly. Breakfast buffet had lots of flies.

It was great staying in Fort Ilocadja Hotel with my family. We enjoyed swimming and breakfast foods were amazingly delicious.

Hotel's ambiance is exemplary - true Filipino. Very clean grounds and rooms. Staff are very accommodating, hospitable and helpful. Will definitely recommend and come back. Thank you.

I know this resort has gone through some hard times because a lot of the features and activities they used to offer are no longer available, and the staff has said that they are going through redesigning and relocating some activities to different areas on the property. I still enjoyed my stay. Just one thing, the bed is very uncomfortable.
