My recent stay at The Alpine Resort was not just decent; it was exceptional, thanks in large part to the manager both sales and property management who make our group trip memorable. The night view of the valley from both the balcony and the terrace restaurant was nothing short of magnificent. It created a breathtaking backdrop for our evenings at the resort. The snacks served were not only delicious but also a delightful addition to our stay. I should note that the swimming pool, while not a rooftop pool as I initially thought, is located at a hilltop outdoor area, just a short 5-minute walk away from the main property. This unique setup adds a touch of adventure to the stay, and the surrounding outdoor games offered extra entertainment, as the staff had mentioned during the booking process. Overall, our group had an enjoyable and unforgettable experience at The Alpine Resort. We cherished the beautiful views, relished the snacks, and made the most of the unique hilltop pool and outdoor activities. This resort offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, and we can't wait to return for another enjoyable stay.

Amazing place .... Very clean with an amazing staff and great service... It's pretty scenic too so you can have a really good time here .... one of the best place for visit. Will visit again soon Best budget hotel to visit with nice valley view. Nearest hill station for Delhi and NCR. 😎🤘

The drive to the resort is approximately 60 km on hilly terrain, so a skilled and calm driver is necessary. Additionally, there are no petrol pumps or medical shops after Kotdwara, so be prepared. The drive can be tricky for those with altitude sickness, but we had a pleasant experience. The last 3.5 km stretch towards the resort is full of adventure, with a poorly built hill road and numerous turns that add to the excitement. Upon arrival, we found a decent parking area and a nice reception, where we were served water and a cold black drink. However, I was expecting more options for welcome drinks. The room allotment process took only 10 minutes, and we were assigned room number 115 for the next two days. As we arrived at 2:30 pm, the hotel management requested that we go directly to the restaurant, as lunch serving time was from 1:30 pm to 3 pm. Lunch was a little boring with simple food and a disappointing dessert. The swimming pool and sports facilities inside the resort were average and nothing noteworthy. In the evening, the management organized a magic show for kids and a live music show for everyone, but surprisingly, they didn't serve evening tea. Dinner was served from 8 pm to 10 pm, and once again, it was below average. I would not rate it more than 2/5 for food quality. The next day, after an average breakfast, we left for the waterfall, which was about 8-9 km from the resort. After parking our car on the roadside, we did a 1.5 km hill trek and reached the waterfall in 25 minutes. The entire waterfall experience took two hours, and it was worth the visit. We returned to Vanvas Resort at 2:30 pm and went straight to lunch, which, once again, was average. The evening was full of music and dance, followed by an average dinner. Overall, Vanvas Resort is worth visiting once, especially for large family groups. The price point should not exceed 6K per night, and one should not expect good food throughout the journey. Based on my experience, I would rate Vanvas Resort 2.5/5.

The hotel has everything you need for a comfortable stay. 24-hour front desk, car park, room service, family room, car hire are there for guest's enjoyment. All rooms are designed and decorated to make guests feel right at home, and some rooms come with desk, soundproofing, telephone, internet access – wireless (charges apply), television. Entertain the hotel's recreational facilities, including garden. Friendly staff, great facilities and close proximity to all that Lansdowne has to offer are three great reasons you should stay at Bright Sunny Pines & Resort.

I planned a short family trip, overall it was a nice experience. The resort location was great just before the lansdowne cantt area all the local site seeing areas are within the 5 km radius. Resort food, cleanliness, pool, kids activities everything was well in place and functional. We enjoyed our stay.
