When we arrived at the hotel our car was valet. It’s $40/day to park which I think is pretty typical in the area. The hotel is very well situated in the historic district and right across the street from the bay. Check in was a little slow but we got there just about 4:30 when everyone is trying to check in. The room was clean and I appreciated the bottled water. Nice shower. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but fine. Our room was on the street side right by the pool. I think it’d probably be loud if we were there over the weekend as the panes of glass are thin. The ac is also super loud. I had to shut it off the first night. We enjoyed the pool. There’s an exercise room as well but we didn’t use it. We took advantage of their happy hour the first night at their bar. But it’s per person. I thought we could just get two beers, one for me and one for the hubby but it doesn’t work that way. There’s a Starbucks in the lobby so that was convenient. Staff was all very nice.

First I am going to star saying that I feel sad I am going back home today. The hospitality of the hotel and the service was above and beyond fantastic. The staff was sooo nice and efficient staring from management to the breakfast guy always with a smile . The entire team was great . Hotel’s location is perfect , you can walk to the old city and is safe at night. Rooms were clean and everyday housekeeping service with new towels and soap . I recommend this hotel 100% no doubts every time I come back to st Augustine I will make my home Hotel las Villas 1565. 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

This place has bed bugs!! I was given a room to check out and the first thing I always do is lift up the bed skirts and check the sides and corners of the mattresses.There were large brown stains on one side of the bed and the other bed had an actual bed bug crawling on the side! I went back to the office and told them and asked for another room. The second room had small brown stains on the corners under the mattresses. Needless to say, at 9:30pm we had to go find another hotel. My regret is not taking pictures since we were with a crying 6 month old baby! I have no idea how people can give this place a good rating. The rooms were old and cheap looking as well. People need to check the corners of the mattresses whenever staying at any hotel!!

Nothing bad to say. Everything met expectations. Was a little worried about the distance from Historic Downtown but it’s a short drive/uber. Wasn’t expecting a lot when we arrived as it’s rated a 2 star hotel. I can’t imagine why. Our room was great. Besides the highway being so close this is a great place and I’ll be back. Lots of room for kids to play out back, for a game of tag. Patio was nice to hang out on.
