Clean and good location and IHOP right there and Olive Garden - no need to drive. Jacuzzi is there and cool pool. Kids loved it.

The good: Staff was great (front desk and management) - some of the best we experienced on our 2 weeks summer driving trip. The breakfast was average to above average. The bad: This property is apparently 24 years old and it really shows its age. That said, the exterior was fine, as was the lobby; however, rooms were the worst I have experienced at a Marriot in many years. I was Bonvoy Platinum, renting two rooms (luckily for only two nights) and supposedly had upgraded rooms; however, when opening the door to our room, was hit in the face with strong stale cigarette smell. Kids room didn't smell like cigarettes but had a different unpleasant smell. Some electrical outlets didn't work, shower valve was leaking badly, and whole room very old, worn and outdated. The hotel really put a bit of a damper on our stopover in Naples, especially as we had 14 other room nights at other Marriott properties across Florida that were a standard deviation better. I'll say again however, staff and management were some of the nicest and best we've come across, but they just can't compensate for a property that needs a FULL renovation down to the studs. For a quick stay it wasn't worth trying to change rooms and I'm sure they are all similar or worse, but they did give me a few Bonvoy points as a gesture. It also taught me to really read all available reviews before booking as I could have avoided all this if I had time to study the poor reviews.

The LaPlaya is wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, but it’s the employees that really made it special. It’s all about the experience, and Diane Markelon the concierge was outstanding in her helpfulness and making every day feel special. Nickolis at the front desk also was wonderful and helped to make us feel amazing, as well as Sam Grant on the beach who was so welcoming. You are very lucky to have such phenomenal employees. Thanks for the great time. We will be back soon.

We've stayed at this property since it was first built and it was amazing back in the day. It's went downhill over the years. The hotel rooms are so-so and are definitely in need of some updating. The rooms are dark and dingy and some of the lighting in the rooms need to have bulbs replaced in the overhead vanity lights, etc. Updated and additional lighting throughout the rooms would be a plus! The wall paper was peeling in the bathrooms and the rooms were generally dark and dingy. The pillows are flat and horrible. The carpeting in the rooms had burn holes and dirty. The elevators are also dirty. The hotel has deodorizer machines plugged in all over the hallways to disperse an obnoxious deodorant spray to mask odors. The housekeeping staff talks very loudly in the hallways all day long. We never utilize housekeeping during our stays but asked for a few replacement towels and they seemed to be bothered by this. The breakfast buffet was always a disheveled mess and somewhat risky to say the least. The hard boiled eggs were in a communal dish as were the bread and pastry items and people were grabbing items with their hands. The toaster had metal tongs next to it to remove the toasted items, as the knobs were missing. I'm fairly sure that using metal tongs along with a toaster, isn't a great idea. We felt horrible for the one and only person working the breakfast area. This solo employee had to keep it organized and clean, as there were many guests that were absolute slobs that were hoarding massive amounts of food, and then throwing most of it in the overflowing trash cans. Perhaps it's difficult to keep up with a few of the low class guests that are messy, loud and disrespectful of the property. For the high price, it's really not worth staying here.

โรงแรมตั้งอยู่ในทําเลที่ดีบนถนน Fifth Avenue ที่พลุกพล่านและเดินทางสะดวกมาก ร้านอาหารอิตาเลียน Green Olive ข้างโรงแรมนั้นยอดเยี่ยมและราคาไม่แพงมาก ห้องพักสะอาด เป็นระเบียบ เตียงนอนใหญ่ นอนสบาย น้ําในสระเหมือนน้ําทะเลเค็ม 😀

Très bel hôtel, deco récente. À proximité des commodités mais l’idéal est d’être véhiculé. A environ 25-30min de Naples beach. Personnel agréable, petit dej très correct. Parking gratuit. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec cuisine équipée, propreté au top. Je recommande!

Great newer hotel in a very good location on SR 41. 8 miles to Delanor-Wiggins state park (beach) and 6 miles to Lowdermilk beach. All kind of good restaurant in the vicinity as well as different supermarkets. Very clean and well lit. Morning breakfast is good and a happy hour almost every day. Rooms are comfortable, clean and ample. Personnel very friendly and helpful. Bartender JC and server Ximena are 2 of the great characters taking care of the guests. Photos on their website show exactly what it looks like. Enough parking on site. Price to value hands down the best in the area. Highly recommend it and looking forward to coming back.
