Excellent hotel, the room was beautiful and very clean, I particularly liked the lighting, not too bright and added something extra to the ‘jazzy’ atmosphere. The spa in the basement is amazing, had the entire spa all for myself for hours. Breakfast was good, staff was very friendly and the location of the hotel is ideal for discovering the beautiful city of Krakow ! Will be back for sure !
J’ai passé un agréable séjour dans cet établissement. Le personnel très sympathique et accueillant. La chambre était propre, très moderne et parfaitement équipée. Des commerces et transports en commun tout près. Très facile de s’y rendre.
WiFi: Good quality, reliable connection. Cleanliness: Very good throughout the hotel. Comfort: Comfortable beds and pillows; however, the towels could be improved. Staff: Polite and smiley, though could be a bit more engaging. Food: Enjoyed the mocktails, but breakfast could use a wider selection of fruits. Location: Excellent, close to the tram stop Cystersów, just 2 stops from the main railway station and 3 stops to the city center. There is also an underground parking available. Atmosphere: Modern, industrial vibe. Value for Money: Good option for a short stay, offering excellent value near the city center.
We recently stopped at the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow for a three-day city break. Let’s talk about the positives first… The hotel is in a great location, it is not too far from the city centre but is on the outskirts, a few minutes’ walk from a large green recreational ground which was lovely. A Bolt (Somewhat a European version of Uber) was almost instantly available at the hotel, and we never waited more than four minutes. A Bolt cab into the city was approximately £2.50 which was great too. The hotel is clearly very new, and this shows with its modern design and use of LED ***** lights which look amazing at night-time. The reception area is modern, has free coffee machines (for use between 1000 hours and 1600 hours) and has a bar within, which again, is very nice. The spa was lovely and is included within the price of the room. We visited at approximately 0900 hours, and it was very quiet which was nice, at one point, we were the only people within the spa. Though, don’t allow looks to deceive you. There were some annoyances with the AC Hotel by Marriot Krakow, and I think it is important to raise them. Firstly, the hotel is next to a building site, which is not evident from the pictures of the hotel’s website or online listings. We paid for an upgraded room with a balcony so you can imagine the disappointment when we learnt it was overlooking a very loud and dusty building site – so much so that the balcony was unusable. Secondly, the AC. (Not the name, the air conditioning!). This hotel uses the AC controls which link in with the windows and doors to prevent loss of energy, which is all well and good when it works. Ours seemed to glitch out constantly and as such locked the AC in the off position. We rung reception after spending a few hours in unbearable heat to be told that there was nobody who could help in the evenings and that they’d send someone in the morning. Fine, so we went to bed only to be woken by someone an hour later who said that they had come to look at the AC. We got up whilst the lady, what can only be described as “faffed” with the AC and then shrugged her shoulders and left – without resolving the issue. Now, if we could have opened the window, or the balcony door, to solve the issue then it wouldn’t have been as much as a big deal, yet it was a trade off between unbearable heat or construction site noise and dust. Another annoyance is when we ordered room service. We telephoned down to the bar and asked if they sold “Sauvignon Blanc”. We were told that they did and that it was however much. I asked for two bottles, and they said that they’d send someone up with it. 45-minutes later, the first waitress arrived with a trolley, an ice bucket, two wine glasses and two bottles of Chardonnay. We explained that we had ordered Sauvignon Blanc and that we would be grateful if she wouldn’t mind swapping it for the correct wine. She took the two bottles away and said that she would return. 20-minutes down the line, she r
We were in Poland for a wedding, my daughter wasn't too impressed with this hotel until she walked into the building. The outside looks unremarkable, but once inside your opinion changes immediately. As a Diamond Member we were upgraded to a King Junior Suite and it was very much appreciated! The Front Desk was attentive and polite. We received our warm cookie and headed up to our room. OMG, it was huge compared to the room we just came from, even the bathroom was large. We had so much room and space to spread out. The Executive Room was nice and we enjoyed the evening entrees, especially the soups. I can't say enough nice things about this executive room. The staff were always pleasant and helpful. Although crowded at times, there was always enough food and hospitality. The breakfast was great. Lots of selections and ample food. We didn't try the made to order omelette as it looked like it could feed two people. This hotel exceeded our expectations.
This hotel is not 4 stars. Not worthy of one star. On arrival we were spoken to with the worst manners i have ever experienced, zero customer services. It shows pictures of a different hotel in their advertising. The pictures are of a hotel across the carpark called the premier. They don't have a pool and it is dark and dinghy. Room was not cleaned all week, strong smell of cigarettes. No amenities and no fridge in room. Can only buy a drink at certain times of the day at the other hotel across the carpark. Food was not great, but nowhere else to eat within walking distance. Again no restaurant at hotel and had to go to other hotel to eat, even for your breakfast that we paid for as part of the stay through the express hotel. Staff were rude when questioned about pool; that didn't exist. I was then told we could use the pool at other hotel but there was a charge. Room cards did not work, so we couldn't get in our room. Went to reception to sort the situation, where I was told by staff it was my fault. Said I must of had them near my phone. This was not the case. This hotel is a joke and the staff are awful. Krakow is gorgeous so don’t let this review put you off visiting, but do not use this hotel. It will ruined your holiday.

This was our first time visiting Krakow , what a great city you have , everyone was so friendly. We visited so many restaurants , all the food and service was excellent. We tried local foods and local drinks , again all great quality. We did all the tourist places but somehow missed the castle so we are going to have to return for that . Now onto the Venetian Hotel , on arrival we checked in with ease , very friendly desk staff , no issues checking in. We got to our room , it was very clean and spacious with the added bonus of a fridge , hob , kettle and provisions , everything we needed. We had a balcony which was a bonus. Each time we left and returned we always got a hello. Again , all staff we encountered were friendly and smiles all around. On our last day ( 20/09/24) we checked out just before 11am. The young lady at the desk was extra helpful , double checking out airport transfer for us then stored our suitcases in the back room whilst we did some last minute sightseeing. On return our airport transfer service was late and the same lady made a few calls and our lift arrived. It was this lady that told us about the castle , we have no idea how we missed it , lol. Apologies to this lady i cannot remember your name but hope she sees this , thank you very much. All in all we had a great time at your hotel and in your city. Many many thanks and we will be back. cheers Steve & Kelly
This was a unique experience to us. We stayed in room 200 which isn' a room but an apartment of 125 square meters: Two large bedrooms, a living room with a piano, a small kitchen and a huge bathroom. And all is furnished with lovely, old furniture and is nicely renovated. I guess that it used to be the old owners own home? But the apartment is on ground floor, in one direction (the bathroom) facing the hotel yard, and the other direction (the bedrooms) facing a small street. This was not a problem to us, but might be it to other guests. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good, but not fantastic. The hotel is very close to both the railway station and the old town.
The hotel has an excellent location with a tram stop right at the front door. Just minutes form the old city square. About a 30 minute ride from the airport, but add time for heavy traffic. Rooms are clean and typical for a modern budget hotel. Only one towel per person in the tiny bathroom. No amenities or safe. But fine for one overnight. Mattress firm. The breakfast buffet was quite good for a budget hotel. We had a problem at check in. We were given a room that was already occupied. The key code opened the room to find another persons' belongings. Oops! The front desk needed quite a while to resolve. I noticed a couple other guests also having problems at check in or check out. However, the personnel at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful. At busy times it would have been good to have a second receptionist. There was a bit of a wait at checkout.
Fabulous location, within walking distance to all the attractions Rooms are very much like a travel lodge , very clean and comfortable Although if you have enough room in suitcase, take your own pillow as the ones provided are shocking Breakfast has ample choices for everyone Staff very friendly and helpful The hotel is spotless throughout will definitely return Lots of coffee shops over the road beautiful restaurants within 10 min walk So much to see and do in krakow - we need to return to do the parts we missed
There is a variety of rooms. Dorm rooms with (just) four beds (not bunks) and attached bathroom are better than in other hostels in the same price bracket. The renovated place is light and kept clean. Check-in is straightforward and pretty well organized. All facilities such as the hot shower and WiFi worked well. Beds were comfortable. Good there are lockers. Enjoyed the modern well equipped kitchen where I could cook and sit at one of the many tables. The location is within walking distance to the old town. Since the last time I stayed here, more guests behaved rather anti-social. Moreover, there were groups with youngsters (sometimes loud). At the court yard very early in the morning someone would start his motorbike (noise!). Every day the same. There is not always someone at the reception. I used the luggage storage for which you need a key. Because the receptionist was absent, I missed my bus. So plan enough time to pick up left luggage.
ผผู้เข้าพักHotel is pretty decent for the price.
In terms of positives, the rooms are pretty good. The pool/ sauna are good. I've been to hotels with pools more like paddling pools, but this one you could actually swim lengths in. It was busy around the evening (5-8), but dead in the morning which meant I could have a nice relaxing swim. Reception were nice and helpful. Breakfast was decent enough, though a bit expensive in my opinion. The big downside for a visitor to Krakow is the hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Around 20 minutes in a taxi to the centre. There's a bus stop outside the hotel, but the only buses which stop there don't go to the centre meaning a connection is needed. Nearest small supermarket around a 7/8 minute walk and there's a big shopping mall 15 minutes by foot. I stayed for work so was happy enough. First time visitors to the city would be better off getting something closer/ better connected to the centre.
