Former Australia soldiers of 3 RAR travelled to Kapyong, to commemorate the Battle of Kapyong 24 April 1951 (in 2025). This brilliant accommodation is located a 2 min stroll over the Gyeonggi-do river to the Australia & NZ memorial, where a friendly well equipped convenience store sits below it. The Host property was spotless, as picture online and well maintained. The owner aims to be non invasive (monitoring from Wi-Fi cameras on the outside of the property) and to protect it. He saw our struggles attempting to light fire on a cold night and quickly drove down to assist :). The lovely store holder closed up shop (when we tried to order food) to take us down to his local family restaurant (for authentic Korean food, which to tried to offer for free and we persistently and politely declined, fantastic local hospitality towards us and in general. The host then drove us back into the Gapeyoung Train station when we tried to order a Taxi. Fantastic experience and would stay here again and highly recommend it. Let me start by saying I chose this hotel as it was close to the Canadian memorial and hill 677 where Canada put a fierce resistance during the Korean war. My father fought here and I wanted to see it. The hotel room was small, very clean, and comfortable. The most amazing thing was the couple that owed it. They were so helpful and offered to drive me to the memorial, get me taxis, provided me coffee and cookies. Their hospitality was far above the 5 star rating I can give. P.s. I'm in my 60's and made it up the hill, walking to the fighting positions. I has a wonderful time here. Great people, very nice stay. Thank you once again. Highly recommended.

We are a family from Germany and stayed for two nights. We were extremely happy with the accommodation – the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. We actually arrived one day earlier than booked, and he took great care of us, even inviting us for dinner! The cozy place was very well equipped – a large TV, a fully stocked kitchen, and very comfortable beds. We truly appreciated the owner’s wonderful hospitality. Thank you so much again!

It’s in a good location where you can get everything if you drive 5 mins. Swimming pool and Spa is just perfect to play and relax. However the drain in the bathroom stinks so once you open the bathroom door it will spread all over the house so quickly. And there are quite a lot of ***** on the floor and blankets hopefully it gets better. So if those two get fixed, I’d definitely want to visit again. The owner is super kind :)

겨울여행이라 미리 난방을 부탁했으나 미리 난방이 되어 있지 않아 좀 추웠습니다. 그리고 바닥 난방이 되지 않아 겨울에 이용하기에는 좀 별로인 것 같습니다. 그 외에는 시설도 깨끗하고 뷰도 좋아 여름에 가면 좋았을 것 같습니다.

Wow...the pension was sooo very lovely, cozy, BIG, clean, inexpensive and was stocked with EVERYTHING! (It looked exactly like the pictures on their site.) The view was spectacular, as well! It was a short, 5-minute walk from The Garden of Morning Calm and was around the corner from a 7-Eleven, so it was sooo very convenient! The host seemed very sweet, as well, although my Korean friend is the one who spoke with him. I will definitely stay there, once again, in the near future! ทําเลที่ตั้งสวยมากโดยเด็ดขาด ฉันชอบตื่นขึ้นมาชมวิวทะเลสาบผ่านหน้าต่างอ่าวใหญ่ของฉัน เจ้าของสถานที่อํานวยความสะดวกและเป็นมิตร ในขณะที่พูดภาษาอังกฤษได้น้อยมากพวกเขาพยายามที่จะสื่อสารได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพจริงๆ เจ้าของยังขับรถพาผมไปเกาะ nami ตอนผมไปรับ taxi ไม่ได้ และเช็คผมให้แน่ใจว่าผมทําให้ผมกลับบ้านโอเค ผมอยากจะแนะนําที่นี่ให้กับใครและทุกคน ผมจะกลับมา!!!

ทุกอย่างดีมาก ฉันแนะนำว่าทางร้านมีอุปกรณ์มีดบางรูปแบบ เช่น ช้อน โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งเนื่องจากมีกาแฟให้บริการ โดยรวมแล้ว ทำเลที่ตั้งและการจัดวางดีเยี่ยมสำหรับสิ่งที่เราต้องการ และอยู่ในทำเลที่สะดวกสำหรับเราในการเดินไปรอบๆ และไปร้านสะดวกซื้อ สถานีขนส่งก็อยู่ที่นั่นเพื่อพาเราไปเกาะนามิและรถไฟใต้ดินในบริเวณใกล้เคียงเช่นกัน ทุกอย่างเป็นไปด้วยดี ☺️

whilst the location is fabulous, the check in experience leaves very little to be desired for. upon arriving (after a long drive from Gyeongju), we could not find anyone at the property. We didnt know that the neighbours there were not part of the property so when we knocked on their door, they got a little annoyed at us, and that we were bothering them. We ended up having to call the numnber listed on the booking site, but the problem was that the person who picked up the phone couldnt speak any english - and i kept saying check in, and he kept saying 4pm. All i wanted for him to do was to show up in person to check us in, not tell me that check in time is 4pm, which I already know! he then hung up after trying to communicate with us. so we waited and waited and called and called and called, and then, when we were just to give up to find another place to stay, a lady turned up and asked my name. We then got checked in. the room was beautiful - it was a lot bigger than what we needed. there were no chairs in the room so my poor partners' back was in pain because he couldnt really sit on the floor. the floor was also very hot through the night so we couldnt really sleep as the heat came through the floor mattress.

เจ้าของใจดีมากและ ^^ พวกเขาสามารถพูดภาษาอังกฤษได้ดีมากและพวกเขาก็ช่วยเหลือดีมาก สถานที่นี้ดีมาก แต่สิ่งที่เราไม่ได้สนุกกับการอยู่ที่นั่นมากเพราะเราเกือบ 6 โมงเย็นและเราต้องเช็คเอาท์ตอน 11 โมงเช้า อากาศดีมาก อากาศค่อนข้างเย็น แต่มันจะสนุกกว่าในฤดูร้อน ^^ เราไม่มีทางที่จะเล่นและเดินเตร่ข้างนอก bcoz เราตื่นสายและต้องเก็บของแต่เช้าเพื่อที่เราจะได้ไปที่อื่น และใกล้กับ Petite Francw ห้องน้ําโอเค สะอาด ^^ ห้องก็สวยด้วย ราคาไม่แพง
