We recently stayed at the Adamtom Country House Hotel for one night and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The hotel has a lovely countryside charm — peaceful surroundings, elegant décor, and a sense of calm that makes it perfect for a short escape from the city.
Our room was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully designed, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was soft and inviting, and the overall ambiance made it easy to relax and unwind.
The service was excellent throughout our visit. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help without being overbearing. It’s clear they take pride in making guests feel comfortable and well looked after.
The location was another highlight — set in a quiet and scenic area, ideal for enjoying nature or simply relaxing in a peaceful setting. It’s also conveniently close to nearby attractions, making it a great base for exploring the region.
Overall, our stay at Adamtom Country House Hotel was delightful. With cozy rooms, great service, and a lovely location, it’s a place we’d happily recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable countryside getaway. We’d definitely love to return for a longer stay next time!
The room was comfortable and clean, and great for our brief stay. Parking wasn't clearly signed and it wasn't clear that there was an additional fee for parking until we were checking in (£8, and it covered until 12pm the following day), but the staff were all really friendly and helpful.
Rooms were clean and adequate. Staff attentive and friendly. However, there was a Wedding on the same day and when we arrived for our evening dinner, we didn't get our starters until 8.45pm when our table was booked for 6.30. Although, to be fair to the staff, we were 25minutes late. We had an 20mth old boy with us, who sat very patiently waiting for a pizza. This took 1hr 45mins to be brought out. We were then told that the Chef was having a meltdown in the kitchen.Cant fault the waiting staff, but if you want to starve to death or eat at midnight then this is the place to go.

This in the UK is labelled a budget hotel so I was not expecting much. The staff were friendly and helpful. No fridge in the rooms and only 30 mns. of free wifi were a downer. Great access for A77 and a very good restaurant next door as Travelodge don’t do food.
Room rates are fine for budgets but if they increased their room rates above £60 per night their would be a backlash.
ผผู้เข้าพักWe booked on line with ***********, when we arrived we were told there was no kitchen as it was getting refurbished, they should have been upfront with this before booking
We also had our 9 year old granddaughter with us and due to the bye laws she was not allowed in the bar even with been accompanied with an adult.
The problem was on Friday evening there was nowhere for us to sit with our drinks and after a lot of consultation we were eventually allowed to sit in the breakfast area.
Not good enough
