⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great Location, Cozy Room—Watch the Bed! Vicci Consulado de Bilbao has a fantastic location—right in the heart of the city, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and public transport. It’s perfect for exploring Bilbao on foot. The room itself was stylish and clean, though quite compact. If you’re traveling light, it’s fine, but space is definitely tight. One funny (and slightly painful) moment: I actually fell off the bed! It’s positioned close to the wall and a bit narrow, so maybe not ideal if you toss and turn at night. Despite that, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall vibe of the hotel was modern and welcoming. I’d recommend it for solo travelers or couples who don’t mind a snug space and want to be in the middle of the action.

There were 2 things which were not in line with my expectations: The window in the room was blocked since the handle was removed, so we could not open the window for fresh air or emergency The airconditioning was very poor. Even when leaving it on, it took hours before the temperature came down from 26 degrees to 23 degrees. This is too high for sleeping. Regards Maurice Lansu room 217.

The hotel gives us a room with a very small window with no construction view, but it is still acceptable. It is close to metro and city center, so the location is quite good. The breakfast is a bit disappointing and is definitely not a 4 star hotel standard. The hotel seems to be quite small surprisingly…Some hotel staff is very rude but most of them are nice.

I didn’t like the bathroom situation, it has not real privacy, all walls were glass so you need to be that intimate level with your companion otherwise it’s awkward, the cleanness was not the best when we arrived, the second night it improved thou. From another hand the location couldn’t be better it’s very central and close to everything including the main central train station

As others have mentioned. Air con is loud and not very strong. You can definitely hear people talking it other rooms and hear doors banging. I wore ear plugs to sleep. Had to exchange my room key 3 times as it wasn't working or only worked for a day . Location was pretty good l. Staff were rine

Overall good experience, good stay, good price, good sized room. Location was good. Beds were comfortable and not too small. Room was basic but we knew that going in. There was a microwave wave and fridge. It took us a while to figure out the air conditioning but it worked. There wasn’t soap in the bathroom. Some issues were that it being a dorm it didn’t have things that you would find in a hotel room like a blow dryer or cups. So we could heat water in microwave but we had to buy cups to hold the water in. If we had access to a kettle or a blow dryer or mugs, even paying to rent one would have made things easier. The laundry room did not accept coins so we had to download an app to wash our chonies. I’m not sure giving some app my credit info to be able to clean my chonies was worth it.
