โรงแรมใกล้ Alt-Westในไลพ์ซิก

Excellent Hotel, nice rooms, extre ely kind and helpful staff. Very nice breakfast room and very nice presentation of food on the buffet. High quality and large choice. Despite the proximity to the city center (less than 10 minutes walk) the hotel is in a very quite location. The only less positive point might be the exterior appearance however this is totally compensated by all other strong points.

Ich war hier zu einer Messe. Das Hotel liegt in einem Gewerbegebiet. Es ist nicht weit zur Messe und einigermassen ruhig. Die Junior-Suite und auch das gesamte Hotel entspricht von der Ausstattung her in keinster Weise dem was man von einem 4 Sterne Haus erwartet. Positiv: -Sauberes Zimmer, Bett und Bad -Flure sauber -Sehr freundliches und bemühtes Personal -Parkplätze (wenn man Glück hat) Negativ: -Kein Lift, wird auch nirgends kommuniziert -Extrem spartanisch ausgestattetes Zimmer (Junior Suite), mit einem kleinen Schrank (soll für 4 Personen sein...) -Es gibt keine Kleiderhaken im Eingangsbereich, man muss die feuchten Jacken dann aufs Sofa legen -KEINE Ablagen im Badezimmer, weder unter der Dusche noch am Waschbecken. Noch nicht mal Handtuchhaken, muss alles über den Heizkörper gehängt werden- -Der Schreibtisch ist in das Schlafzimmer gequetscht und mit allem Möglichen zugestellt -Das ”Wohnzimmer” ist weitgehend leer, es gibt keinen vernünftigen Tisch oder Stühle -Keine Trenntür zwischen den Bereichen -Im Zimmer war die Musik und der Bass vom Lokal darunter sehr gut zu hören bis morgens um 1. -Keine Klimaanlage (im Winter nicht so schlimm aber im Sommer wohl) -Sehr laut, Fenster isolieren nicht wirklich -Das Frühstück besteht aus billigen Supermark-Artikeln und ist sehr überschaubar -Kaffee gibts nur dünnen Filterkaffee, wenn man Glück hat erhält man gegen Bezahlung was anderes, aber meistens hatte die Bedienung keine Lust. Meiner Meinung nach ist das definitiv kein 4 Sterne Haus. Eher 3 Sterne, und dafür viel zu teuer. Und eine Junio Suite ist auch was anderes. Das Personal ist bemüht aber das ändert nichts daran das man sich einfach nicht wohlfühlt. Selbst für eine Person ist der vorhandene Kleiderschrank zu klein. Ich wollte eigendlich länger bleiben, habe aber dann das Hotel gewechselt wo einem für 200EUR die Nacht was besseres geboten wird.

This is my second Motel One and I did not think it was possible to have a room more spartan or smaller than in Berlin Mitte..but I was wrong. As a single I have 1 towel, 1 set of pillows, 1 duvet, no washcloth (none in Berlin either). There are no nightstand, just a shelf that you would use for stacking clothes if you unpack. 3 hangers. When you book, they ask if you are single or double. This is why. My companion is with her husband and paid more for a double. Higher floor and 2 of each. On the flip side, it is in a great location. I had to close the window because of the church bells and street noises. You have a lively bar and breakfast while very expensive at $13.50 is great. You could skip it and walk up the block to several bakeries. Avoid a car if possible. The lot is extremely tight. $15 per day. So while cheap and clean, the other costs add up. You have the bare minimum but with great common areas. If you do have a car, turn left into an open lot…before you get to the street that is the motel one parking garage. Same price, but easier to manage.

In August 2022 I stayed for the eighth time in this wonderful hotel, a small pearl in Leipzig. Family-run (no chain), it offers you a very warm welcome, large rooms with equally large bathrooms, high-quality beds, a very nice inner-yard garden where you can spend the evening and enjoy a good beer from Saxony, a very solid breakfast. It is a home away from home with very friendly and helpful personnel at your disposition. Perfectly situated near city-center Leipzig (about 1,5-2 km to walk to Augustusplatz), but just far away enough to offer you free parking (always available) directly outside the hotel. Tram stops for two lines (4, 15) are in the vicinity, both go to the center and main station. Supermarkets close by and also restaurants as well as kebab or burger snacks. Couldn't be better! Looking forward to staying there again for the New Year.

Worst service ever met We waited for the check in approximately 45' minutes Next day we requested for a taxi to the fair because it was snowing and there is no public transportation around. half an hour before our requested time they called us to say that there was no taxi available. We requested for a shuttle bus or a drive to the fair due to weather conditions, but they said there is nothing they can do, so we walked 15' in the snow. However the worst ever behaviour we had was from the 18years old kid working in the restaurant who threatened to call the police, if we don't cone down from our room to sign the dinner paper. Situation is as follows: we went for dinner, we give our room.no for the dinner bill, we were in the restaurant for 2,5 hours (nobody during this time ever come to ask us to sign anything), when we left we went to the reception asking whether we can do the check out and pay restaurant and close our bill. Reception told us we could not do check out at that time, but tomorrow morning. Few minutes after we got a call, from the restaurant asking to come down and sign the paper, otherwise they will call the police. When I went down this 18years old boy, told me this is Germany, here we pay our bills and for those they don't they call the police!!!! This is Germany I suppose
