This condo/hotel is a great place to stay in Lake Geneva. This was our third stay there. Very clean. Full kitchen, separate bedroom, dining table, nice size living room with a fireplace. Has cable tv but no streaming services so we couldn't sign in to our Netflix service but we had great weather so we weren't in the condo for any length of time. The bathroom has a double wide jacuzzi tub/shower combo that would be great to have in the colder weather. They provide a full buffet breakfast served in the main floor breakfast room. There is also an indoor pool but we didn't use it so I can't comment on it. The hotel personnel are very nice and really care if you're enjoying your stay. Mill Creek Hotel is less than a block from Geneva Lake and less than a block from the main street shopping. Ideally located and Parking is free!
Spent a weekend in Lake Geneva, other than a squeeky bed in our double Queen room the hotel was great and having a restaurant attached meant that after a day of wandering we didn;t have to go very far for a bite to eat. Shopping is about a 5 minute walk and added plus is they have a parking lot for guests so you don't need to hunt for a parking place in town.
Ms. Emmy was very helpful during my stay. She has excellent customer service and professionalism. She made sure that I was satisfied with what ever I needed. All together, I loved my stay at the hotel because it is very comfortable and clean!
The stay at the hotel was good and I have no complaints there. However, after I checked out and left the hotel, I noticed the amount of my bills was different from that on my reservation email by about $26 more. It's not a big amount and I thought it was probably some honest mistake made by the hotel staff when I checked in because she had to change our room type due to the room type we reserved not being cleaned yet. So for the next two days, I tried to reach out to the hotel, left voice messages to the hotel manager twice, and got NO responses whatsoever. I then reached out to Marriott's customer service and filed a case there. After waiting for almost a month and talking to three different customer specialists (who were actually very helpful), the case was still NOT solved! At one point, the hotel told the specialist that they have refunded me , which was a lie. As of today which is about almost a month after my stay, I reached out to Marriott's customer service again and the specialist reached to the hotel. Guess what, the hotel told her it was just some temporary incidental hold on my credit card and I should wait longer for it to drop. Well, it has been a month and I really do not think incidental hold will hold up that long on my credit card!! At this point, I feel like the hotel just does not want to deal with this situation so they make up whatever reasons to keep me wait and wait till I am tired of following things up. SO...if you decide to stay in this hotel, please be careful with the bill when you check out while you are still there. Once you leave and if you catch a problem, good luck (:
The views were exceptional and we loved the soaking tub. The bed was comfortable and the minibar was very convenient. Water was a bit hard but not much can be done there. Would have liked some more fresh breakfast options via room service but there is plenty nearby. Wonderful experience and we will definitely be back!
