I didn't expect it to be a very big hotel. It's very convenient to drive there. The hotel facilities are good and the scenery is great. It's a very ideal vacation spot. There are many options for eating, you can eat lunch and dinner in the hotel, and there is also a bar. The front desk may be a little busy when there are many people. What was surprising was seeing a double rainbow on the sea while having breakfast.

Excellent hotel staff , food location and the decor were absolutely perfect , the room was very spacious and comfortable with a lovely corner window to enjoy a sea view, the breakfast selection was an amazing variety of delicious food options , and the evening menu was also delicious

Armada hotel had been on our bucket list for a while so we were really looking forward to our trip.....and boy did it deliver ! Have just spent the May Bank Holiday weekend there......The unique simplistic and thoughtful decor of the hotel was the first thing we noticed,loved the books and Heather's rugs etc.The staff were 100% lovely and helpful always.The dining experiences were all wow...Ocean bar and Aileen s Restaraunt were spectacular ,lively and the food gets 10/10...breakfast was one of favourites of any hotel anywhere in the world....esp if u get to eat it at one of those tables with the perfect view of the ocean when the sun shines ! Room was lovely ,loved Johnny Burkes bar and it was buzzing last weekend... a special mention to the main man there ....always found the perfect table no matter how busy ! Loved the cocktails....the coffee at Gulls.....I changed to make it our new fav hotel.....Thanku all at Armada ye do it v well ...wil b back .

Had dinner while there in the Ocean bar restaurant. Amazing a**osphere and staff. Only problem was that our friend got the salmon special and it was tiny. It sat very lonely looking on a very large plate on just a very tiny amount of veg. A very small portion of mash potatoes accompanied on a side dish. Everyone else had menu items and were amazing. We felt sorry for our friend with the special. Just a comment we find doing a restaurant booking on mobile phones very frustrating it kept popping back on us. We had to do on a laptop in the end. Think most will find that annoying. Keep up the amazing work on this beautiful hotel in an amazing location.

Lovely decor throughout hotel. Room with ocean view had a great corner window & window seat snug, perfect for looking out across beach. Good service for breakfast and dinner in Aileen’s restaurant, buffet breakfast had lots of options to choose from.

Booked one night away at Armada Hotel. From checking to checkout could not find fault with this hotel. The staff were professional, and friendly in a genuine way. The bedroom was lovely, the added touch of the books to read while there was lovely. A treat was the little bottles of Coole Swan that was delivered to our door, another lovely touch. Dinner was excellent, the sharing seafood platter( served like afternoon tea) was to die for. Great choice for breakfast , with views of the sea while eating. Will recommend a visit to friends and family and will definately be back

The hotel is absolutely lovely. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Restaurants in the hotel are top class. Magnificent view of the ocean from Aileen’s Restaurant. We were celebrating our Wedding’s Anniversary and the hotel acknowledged it twice during our stay! Will definitely return.

This was a beautiful hotel and I wish we had stayed longer than one night. We had an amazing dinner with a view of the ocean, followed by the best music in the pub in the hotel. ( Finnegan's Fury) We loved our spacious room with an ocean view. The record player and albums that were provided were a surprise treat. Such a fun touch to make us feel young.
