My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at this spotlessly clean, newly renovated hotel 4 nights. We arrived in Lagos by train with the hotel being a 5-10 minute easy walk across the pedestrian bridge on the marina. The entire front desk staff were very pleasant, helpful and professional. The room was spacious with a nice view overlooking the marina. It was very quiet despite being on the street side. Breakfast was delicious with many choices each morning. The location was within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, numerous sights and the water taxi. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Lagos and would be our first choice if returning.

Lovely spot in Lagos.Been here a few times and now won't go anywhere else. Rooms are nice.Most have a kitchenette .Choice of views from the rooms. Pool is nice. Staff are nice. It's a great location by the Marina but only a short walk from town.So easy access to bars by Marina and restaurants in town.

We visited at the end of May 2022 and stayed for a week. We were really impressed with our apartment (number 601). This was a partial sea-view room. It was well situated, with beautiful views of palm trees and a glimpse of the sea. It was also close to the pool and facilities. The rooms were clean and well looked after. The decor was simple but welcoming. The ground-floor terrace was attractive, and the hedging/flowers/grass was all well manicured and maintained. We opted for self-catering to give us flexibility. The kitchen was equipped to make simple meals. It had a hot plate, microwave and fridge freezer, with plenty of basic utensils. We visited the bar once or twice for a quick cocktail, and the ones we tried were very tasty. We visited during happy hour, which made the price reasonable. It would perhaps be a bit expensive outside of happy hour. The pool area was beautiful, with lots of sun loungers and parasols. It was very quiet whenever we visited. A few people sunbathing and perhaps one or two in the pool. We all loved the pool! Initially cold, but fine once you dunk yourself in! The indoor pool and hot tub were an added bonus too. We hired a car from the airport, and I'm glad that we did as it made it a lot easier to visit the shop and see the sights in the local area. A car isn't necessary if you plan to stay on the resort and at the local beach, but otherwise I would definitely recommend hiring one. In summary, a perfect place for a quiet and peaceful holiday. It was sometimes so peaceful that we could have imagined that we were the only ones there. Wonderful. I'd definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at Belmar Spa & Beach Resort. The location was really great - we could walk 2 minutes to the beach, it was super quiet, and drinks & dinner in historic downtown every night was just a 4-5 minute uber/bolt. Our one bedroom apartment had a lovely view of the ocean and an inifinity pool, which made sunsets very pretty. We really enjoyed sitting on the patio with some charcuterie and wine to enjoy the view! The apartment had a washing machine which was super helpful, and a drying rack on the porch. The restaurant was closed for the month, which we knew in advance so I can't speak to that, or how the breakfasts are. It was very nice to have a gym available, and there are outdoor pools but we learned that they are not heated, so not usable a this time. My disappointment was that a big part of why I booked this resort was for the indoor heated pool, and hydrotherapy/hot tub. When we arrived Saturday, they gave us a rundown but didn't mention the indoor water so I asked, and got a response that was pretty vague but ultimately that they had a fire in that room during the week, they were investigating it, and he had no idea when it would be open. I asked again the following day and got a non-answer. I finally spoke to a very nice woman at reception and she explained a little more and it became pretty obvious (even though no one said this) that we would not have access our whole trip. A week after the fire, that spa/pool area was set to be closed for reno work/maintenance, so interesting timing possibly. Anyway, I was a little upset that no one notified us of this closure prior to arrival, or even upon arrival. I feel bad that this happened and it is not the staff's fault at all. Anyway, when everything is up and working I could imagine this being the perfect stay!

Please be careful with what kind of accommodation you book, I made the mistake of booking a “twin room” for my elderly parents, it was the most basic of rooms and the only outside space was a tiny triangle of patio at the front of the flat (see pics) my parents had to ask for seats so they could sit out there. Again this is my fault NOT the hotel but I thought I needed to add this in for people who might be thinking of booking the budget room. Cons - The restaurant - if you want to eat at the restaurant you won’t be able to see what’s available on the menu until you have been seated, which can lead to embarrassment if like myself you're allergic to onions and everything on the menu seemed to contain onion so I had to get up in front of everyone and explain to the staff why I was leaving! I asked if there was an alternative which there was but was told if I wanted this I had to pay, having already paid for half board accommodation I found this to be very unfair as it’s an allergy not a choice.! I would suggest that in future to save any embarrassment you would put up the evenings menu where people can make a choice before entering the restaurant. The room itself was very basic no kettle meaning no options to make yourself a drink when wanted. The shower screen was leaking, had someone come out to fix this twice but it was still leaking and so had to keep putting towels on floor. No shuttle bus from hotel to town/beach as advertised on their website. Apparently it finished at the end of their season which isn’t what it said when I booked the holiday and the hotel was fully booked so really can’t understand why it wasn’t running. As other people have stated in these comments the pool chairs were filthy there were some really awful ones full of black stuff!! Pros- A choice of 2 swimming pools, the complex as a whole was very nice like a little village. The reception staff were very helpful and polite.

เราพักที่โรงแรมนี้เป็นเวลา 3 คืนในปลายเดือนกันยายน เรามีห้องที่หันหน้าไปทางท่าเรือซึ่งดีกว่าอีกด้านหนึ่ง หันหน้าไปทางสถานีขนส่ง ตัวห้องมีอุปกรณ์ครบครันพร้อมเตียงที่สะดวกสบายและผ้าม่านบางบานในเวลากลางคืน จากห้องของเราบนชั้น 3 เสียงถนนแทบไม่มีเลย ระหว่างที่เราพักเราไปทานอาหารเช้าที่ร้านอาหารชั้นล่างทุกเช้า (อาหารเช้าแบบแข็งพร้อมไข่ ไข่เจียว แพนเค้ก เครื่องดื่มให้เลือกมากมายรวมถึงสปาร์กลิงไวน์) นอกจากนี้เรายังไปที่สระว่ายน้ําที่ชั้นบนสุด สระว่ายน้ําค่อนข้างเย็นเพราะความร้อน มีเก้าอี้มากมายให้นั่งเล่นในวันที่เราอยู่ที่นั่น พนักงานทุกคนค่อนข้างมีความสุขและให้คําแนะนําเกี่ยวกับอาหารและกิจกรรม แม้ว่าฉันจะให้คะแนนรีวิวนี้ 5 * แต่มีหลายสิ่งที่ฉันจะสังเกตเห็น และไม่สามารถเปลี่ยนแปลงได้ 1. เลย์เอาต์ของห้อง / ขาดความเป็นส่วนตัว - คุณเข้าไปในห้องน้ําได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและไม่มีประตูแยกห้องนอน ไม่เลวสําหรับคู่รัก ... เราสามารถจัดการได้ แต่อาจอึดอัดสําหรับคนอื่น ๆ ที่จอดรถ - มีเพียง 3 จุดด้านหลังเท่านั้นที่ให้บริการในเวลา 10Eur ต่อวัน คุณสามารถจอดรถข้ามท่าเรือได้ฟรี
