Lovely dog friendly pub. Plenty tables outside. The Sunday roast beef was delicious. Staff all lovely. Only disappointment was the coffee, not very strong and watery. Didn’t ruin our meal so will definitely return.

Delicious lunch and so reasonably priced! An absolute treat. We would highly recommend this lovely, friendly Inn.

We have just returned home from a 3 night stay at the Inn at Kingsbarns - we travelled from Nottinghamshire for a family wedding. My husband and I loved every moment of our stay, from the spacious rooms, the incredibly comfortable beds (with crisp, white bedding) to the hearty breakfast each morning. The inn is cosy, welcoming and the staff are attentive and friendly. The indoor and outdoor areas suit either a warm day for drinks in the sunshine or cosy, candlelit evenings in the bar or snug. We can’t wait to return when we visit our Kingsbarns family in the future. Thank you!

Our stay at The Inn at Kingsbarns genuinely felt like a little escape I didn’t know I needed. From the moment we walked through the door, there was this warm, easy atmosphere that instantly put us at ease. The team there don’t just do hospitality well they make it feel natural. Nothing is forced, nothing is over the top, just genuinely friendly people who seem to enjoy looking after their guests. Our room was that perfect mix of character and comfort, the kind of space where you drop your bag and immediately think yes this will do nicely. Everything was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the small touches like fresh milk made it feel more personal. The food deserves its own praise. We had diner on both nights that we stayed and it felt like it had been cooked with real care. Breakfast set us up perfectly for the day, and the evening meals were hearty, flavourful and beautifully prepared without being fussy. It’s the sort of place where you will look forward to dinner all day. If had the steak burger on the first night and we both had fish and chips the following night. I would heartily suggest leaving room for dessert - homemade cheesecake is to die for. And the location couldn’t be better. Kingsbarns is peaceful and charming, with the beach and golf course just minutes away and St Andrews a short drive down the road. It’s ideal whether you’re exploring, golfing or just slowing down for a bit. By the ttime we left, we were already thinking about when we could come back. It’s that kind of place. A couple of tips - do book for diner as space is limited and it would be unfortunate if you missed out; parking might be tight due to limited space but plenty of parking nearby. Apart from these small points nothing should stop you booking a stay here.

Having been to the pub quiz night previously, we were really impressed by the hospitality at the Inn, so decided to go for Sunday lunch. We were not disappointed! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious! I had the courgette fritters for starter followed by the fish pie, while my partner had the tomato and basil soup and the traditional Sunday roast. Being real foodies we can be quite critical, but were super-impressed by the quality and portion sizes.It really was top-notch and great value. This will definitely become one of our regular dining haunts!

A fantastic community-owned pub and the perfect dog-friendly stop for Olive 🐕. The food was excellent, exceeding expectations, and while vegetarian options were limited, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. A beautifully poured Guinness and great value all round. A special thanks to Norman for sharing the inspiring story of the community-owned operation. A wonderful experience we look forward to repeating.

Staying nearby on holiday and had a lovely dinner. This was the antithesis of pub food. For a small establishment, the menu was quite varied (and more extensive than he on-line sample menu). The food was really fresh and tasty. My wife had the fish pie and I had panko breadcrumb chicken burger with satay sauce. I had the chocolate torte to finish and my wife had the panna cotta. All washed down with draught Ossian and Outcider. It was all absolutely delicious. Service was friendly, efficient and attentive and the chef is clearly very talented. Not the most comfortable environment, but in keeping with the architecture. Will certainly go back next time we are in the area.

Our first time at the The Inn, Kingsbarns for a meal, while on holiday, We were met by really friendly staff and sat in the Snug room. My wife and I both ordered the Spinach, Broccoli and Stilton soup. Well it was so delicious and piping hot, it was accompanied by small toast pieces. If the main courses were as good as the starters we were in for a treat. And they were. My wife ordered the Salmon, on a bed of potatoes, green beans and tender stem, in an oyster sauce. I had the breaded haddock, chunky chips and salad. The haddock was the best I’ve ever tasted. My wife said the same about her meal too. We could use ‘wow’ a few times here, ha! ha! 10/10 for the new chef and 10/10 for the friendly staff. Thank you all so much. So obviously well recommended!
