Tom and Eilis are the ultimate hosts. I called at the last minute due to a cancelled Air B&B booking elsewhere. They had one room left which was perfect for us, a front-facing room with an amazing view and a gorgeous renovated bathroom across the hall. There was also a sink in our room and breakfast was just down the hall. The sunroom / porch downstairs is the most amazing place to relax. Eilis was the sweetest breakfast host and put out quite a spread. We had the salmon and eggs and French toast. After breakfast, Tom gave us very detailed tips on how to spend our day and told us some fun stories about his childhood in a nearby town. We hope to be back soon to visit with them again! One tip for future visitors: they only take cash, so make sure to bring some with you. We didn’t have cash but were able to use the ATM in town.
My friend and I stayed there for 3 days as our beginning point to visit Kerry and Dingle area. Although old, it has everything you need, rooms are not very spacious, but the bathroom is modern and with all the facilities. Situated by the harbour, you are close to the nice walking by the sea. We’ve also had dinner there, and it was very good! The breakfast is including, you get large irish one, all kind of cereals. The only minus was for the not so nice salami and cheese you can get if you don’t fancy irish breakfast. Would come again!
PROS: Exceptionally clean. Everything seemed relatively new. Beautifully quiet. Nice warm room. Bedding, décor, and furnishings were all quite nice and well selected. CONS: No lounge or living room type common area for guests to sit comfortably with only one basic office chair provided in the room. Quite simply, it was too sp****ly furnished and appointed. Wi-fi was very sketchy (despite numerous reboots) and even stopped working completely for quite some time. The owner since claimed to have “super fast Wi-Fi” and that we should have addressed Wi-fi issues on-site, but we had no idea how to find the proprietor once he handed us the room keys and then basically disappeared for the duration of our stay (behind one of the closed doors on the property?). In short, we could not address the Wi-fi issues as he suggested. There were no TV’s in the entire property, which the owner stated was done on purpose to provide a “quiet and peaceful experience”. That seems nice enough, but without reliable working Wi-fi, the property became an isolated entrapment while we stared at the walls for several hours. A tomb is a “quiet and peaceful experience”, but that doesn’t necessarily make it pleasant. By normal Irish standards for hotels, 4:30 pm check-in and 10:30 am check-out times were quite late and early respectively, which is not common for Ireland as the owner subsequently claimed. We stayed in more than 30 hotels in Ireland and not one of them provided so little overall time. The typical turnaround from check-in to check-out (in all of 2100 miles we traveled around Ireland) was about an hour longer, one way or another. Responding to this, the owner quite rudely wrote (his quote) that we “would need to familiarise yourself with the basics before travelling somewhere”. To that, I can only say we are traveling 110 days this year in 16 different countries and have traveled to about 40 countries before. We plan our journeys exhaustively. I suggest rather than provide insulting remarks about our travel abilities, which are highly tuned and time-tested, perhaps this property’s management should listen to useful customer input about things which were not customary and inferior to competitors. Breakfast was an additional charge which rather goes against the ENTIRE notion of calling oneself a B&B. In retrospect, on closer examination, I concede the advertised rates for the property apparently included a non-breakfast option, but it’s important to note that is not always completely obvious when viewing typical hotel booking sites. Addressing this, the owner wrote that “it looks like you had no idea what you were booking and were not looking at the location or anything at that time”. Overlooking the blatant rudeness of that comment, our situation was actually quite the contrary, and we were keenly familiar with the location, having already spent a total of 25 days traversing the entire west coast of Ireland throughout both rural and urban areas before
We were looking forward to our stay ... Arrived Monday evening where a function for a group was in process.. we selected the hotel as. It was out of town, appeared away from noise of the town… paying at the highest room rate of the season therefore had high expectations.. sadly the opposite. Our room was extremely noisy above the bar & restaurant and beside the guest function toilet .. We were told all bar and lounge areas unavailable to us due to the function & recommended restaurants in the town for dinner ... sadly all closed in town as a Monday evening... others booked out due to options limited We were not offered a room away from the noise .. which as there was a function below .. would have been appreciated The room was adequate but bed was extremely hard … luckily the noise stopped at 10 pm Woken at 7 am with music and smells from the below kitchen ... sadly over priced & disappointed
First stay in the apartments, on a quick visit to Sneem with family. Really great experience, from check-in with the team, and greeting from Red. The comfort, cleanliness, and facilities of the apartments were excellent, and perfect for our needs. Ideally located with the village 10 mins walk away, and mid-point for our travels east to Kilgarvan, and west to Caragh Lake. Have no hesitation recommending the apartments (or hotel) to anyone.
This lovely small comfortable hotel does exactly as it says. A 3 star well run friendly place with great food and lovely professional helpful staff. The location is a perfect base for exploring the Dingle peninsula. Beach within 15 minute walking distance along lovely quiet road. I highly recommend this great little hotel.
A lovely experience, the public spaces are great and many, a lovely bar with a good mix of options, the restaurants have great options and the food offer was superb. A seperate spa aera for adults seperates you from the kids so you are not bothered at all. The bedrooms in the original hotel are shabby chic, but absolutely quiet and very comfortable with all the amenities. The place as modern rooms and houss for rent. Lovely walks, sea swimming and 9/18 hole golf course all at your door. The staff are fab and well trained throughout. Well maintained hotel with options for all.
The hotel is located 11 km away from Dingle IE and 67 km away from Kerry County Airport the nearest airport from the accommodation.
Facilities and services include breakfast room, car parking, free Wi-fi, garden and television.
Room features include cable/satellite TV, hairdryer, Non-smoking rooms and wi-fi - free.

The tea/coffee with cakes upon arrival are a welcoming hug as you enter this charming home with views that are like a postcard. Phil meets you with her warm Irish smile and directs you to your well kept, comfortable room. We stayed downstairs in room 6. My family was in room 7 which is like a suite Micheal helps with the luggage with a joke or two and a kind sense of humor. Upon awakening you head toward the smells of fresh brewed coffee and breakfast to trump most all breakfasts in taste. I can say they made the one of the most delicious eggs Benedict’s in my history. Just around the corner is a pub and a walk along the magnificent cliffs. Phil lets you know all the things to do and how to get there. I loved my quiet time in the sitting room sipping coffee or Jameson and soaking in the views of the Atlantic, with sheep and ponies dotting the breathtaking landscape. Thank you Phil and Bernie for taking such good care of us.

We stayed in this hotel in August 2024. Two of the best things about it: the view---amazing! Mountains and hills, and the surrounding landscape is beautiful. The other thing is the attached restaurant---we had dinner one night and it was great. The included breakfast was also amazing---made to order! Now the not so great....not bad, but we felt a little cheated. The room advertised a KING bed. We found out this is a UK-King, not a normal US-King bed. It was the same size as a US-Queen bed. Not a big deal, but they should mention that in the listing. The next thing: There is no AC in any of the rooms. Again, no mention of this in their listing. Not that much of a problem, because it was cool (mid 60's) during our stay, but in order to get the room cooled down, we had to leave the balcony door open, and there was no screen at all. Luckily, we had no birds, or bugs or who knows what in our room when we returned from our outings for the day. Also, on one of the days, it was raining, so the door couldn't stay open---it rained in the room if you did. Not ideal. We are a couple who likes to sleep in a very cold room---we always turn our hotel rooms down to 68 degrees or less when we sleep. Not sure we ever got below 70 in this room. Next....there is no mini-fridge in the room, and no icemaker in the hotel. We had to ask the front desk for any ice bucket, and they had it delivered from the restaurant to our room, but again, not ideal. Lastly, the room is very, very small---only 2 feet between the bed and the wall, so if you plan on spending any time in the room other than sleeping, it's very crowded. PS---this is a very old hotel---needs some updating. The carpet in our room looked new, so that was nice, but the walk to our room has some very old carpet, walls that need painted, and furniture that looks like it's from the 70's or 80's---and VERY well used. For a short stay (a day or two) it's fine, but any longer---stay at a more modern, updated hotel.
We were in room 4 and it was absolutely charming and lovely! The gentlemen that checked us in was so fun to talk to— we stood and chatted with him for 30 min, laughing and hearing stories. We arrived at 11 am, which is early, and he let me know that check in wasn’t until 3 pm but he would do his best to get me in as soon as possible. By 11:45 am he called and a room was ready! They even gave me a bottle of Prosecco and plate of strawberries because it was my honeymoon! Overall, just a fantastic time. They really did go above and beyond to make us feel special. Thank you! We hope to stay again in the future and would highly recommend!
We stayed this past weekend for a hen party and the whole experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. We were a group of 37 so alot of people to accommodate. Maura and team in the booking office were so helpful and accommodating in organising our group into the dorm and also double and triple rooms, and were on hand to adjust numbers as we went along, and answer any queries we had with such wonderful attitudes. We did activities in the bar which was beautifully decorated, and had custom cocktail menus for our group - thanks to Sean who was our barman and sorted all those details with us in advance. There is a lovely night porter if you fancy a nightcap which we did (sorry we didn't catch your name). Breakfast was delicious, well recieved by the whole group - nothing like a full Irish after a busy day and night. I would 100% recommend it for any group, the whole process was so easy. I would also recommend to anyone wanting to visit Dingle - the rooms are clean and modern, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the location is great.
Really great accommodation a short walk from the centre of town. Room was lovely. Great comfortable double bed, plenty of storage, huge bathroom with shower etc and had shower gels/shampoo etc for guests. Room cleaned each day with towels etc replaced and free water provided. WiFi was free and great speed anywhere in the house. Free unreserved parking outside the front door.
