The Domes of Corfu delivered 5 star service and some of the best buffet food for breakfast and dinner that we have ever experienced. during our seven night stay. The hotel’s staff, without exception, were professional, friendly, informative and always helpful. The hotel has a relaxed atmosphere and is set directly on Glyfafa beach, so you have a great view of the sun setting over the Ionian Sea every evening. Our room was comfortable and along with the hotel’s facilities provided everything that we required for a week of relaxation and enjoyment.

This was our second time here as we loved it so much the first time around. We booked the Haute Living option so our room was much nicer. We also had access to the Haute Living room where we could have drinks and some nibbles through the day. This was brilliant. We were lucky enough to meet again Marianthi who looked after us brilliantly last time. She was visiting this hotel to assist the managers but is the Operations Manager for the chain. I cannot thank her enough for making us feel so special. Every single member of staff was exceptional from the lovely woman who showed us around on our first day and arranged lunch for us whilst we waited for our room (I unfortunately didn’t make a note of her name) to the staff who checked us out but allowed us access to the Haute Living room whilst we waited for our transfer to the Airport. It was just a fabulous stay from start to finish. There were a lot of families with pre school children so the buffet dinner was the most popular dining option. The other restaurants are good but we found a lot of the dishes had an added supplement to pay which we didn’t have to do last time around. There is an adult only hotel nearby owned by Domes but the beach is not as nice as the one here. The hotel was fully booked when we visited but it never felt busy other than maybe at dinner time in the buffet restaurant. The hotel invited us to a Corfu Beer event on the Friday which was wonderful. Spiros gave an informative and interesting talk about their local beer and were very generous in the amount of beer and sumptuous food they provided for us which was unexpected. We rarely ever visited the same hotel twice but we’ve already decided to go back next year as it ticks all the right boxes for us.

We said so many thank yous during this holiday, to staff who were attentive, kind, professional, generous and genuinely wanting to please. Our silver wedding anniversary holiday was made special because of this and the hotel itself. Our room with its swim up pool was a bonus and we enjoyed the wide variety of food in all the restaurants, choosing Topos for our anniversary meal. Sitting by the beach, watching the sunset and eating good food served by smiling staff, couldn’t be bettered. The Haute Living was a welcome oasis which we used every day. There aren’t many places to walk to, but we could have got a bus from the hotel into Corfu, which a fellow holidaymaker told us was convenient and free. We didn’t venture far, apart from a daily walk along the beach, with its clear waters. We left with an overall feeling of relaxation and oddly - for a hotel of this size - individually valued and appreciated as guests.

Domes We spent a week half board at this hotel in October 2023 and thought it brilliant for the following reasons: 1. We did not have a transfer from the airport instead we picked up a hire car. The drive was easy as was parking at the hotel and, if there were no spaces outside reception, the staff provided complimentary valet parking. 2. Reception and check-in, very professional, friendly and efficient. We were given a brief tour of the facilities and then shown to our room where the luggage had already been delivered. Reception provided us with a simple map and recommendations of places to visit. 3. The hotel itself is well laid out and spacious with lots of lounges and bars. The Wifi was excellent throughout the hotel including the beach bar and pool areas. 4. There are 2 pool areas one for adults only which is separated from the family pool and there were two “swim up” pools 5. The hotel is right on the beach and an area is designated as Adults only. The beach slopes gently down to the sea which was a beautiful azure colour when the sun shone. 6. Our room was a “Sapphire retreat” with a balcony and faced west overlooking the pools and beach. We were able to view the sunsets during the week. The Room itself was compact but not small and with a plentiful supply of hot water the shower was great. There were USB3 and USB-c sockets for charging phones and iPads. The air-con was quiet and effective. There were lights to indicate “DND” or make up my room. 7. Housekeeping was excellent and everyday would make up the bed and replace used bottles of water. 8. The Agora restaurant was fantastic with so many choices that were different every night. Breakfast was varied and catered for all tastes. It also had a grill where you could order omelettes cooked to order. The staff worked incredibly hard and the service was excellent. 9. We didn't use the spa or fitness room. The Spa treatments were expensive and limited. We would certainly recommend this hotel and would definitely visit again.

I booked this hotel Just after Christmas as I'm 60 this year and was going away with my friend to celebrate and this hotel and the resort looked fantastic. After booking, I called Jet 2 to request twin beds as no where on the website ( either Domes or Jet 2 ) did it state that this was an option. In fact it stated the the resort welcomed ' couples and families' on the Domes website, so I thought I would ring to clarify as my friend and I are not a 'couple' Jet 2 whom we booked with tried to contact the hotel directly with no response and they managed to get through to the central reservations department who stated that twin beds could not be guaranteed at all. They didn't even offer to try and enquire if this was an option for us or take our details to get back to us. I emailed the hotel directly from their website and have had no response to this date!!! Jet 2 were very good and gave us until that evening to change our booking to another hotel, which is nice but not quite what I wanted for my special birthday. Very disappointing and poor customer service before even travelling there.

Hit & Miss. More hits than misses though Having visited the impressive Domes Elounda (see other review) we booked this Domes Corfu. I really like the “Boho luxury” style and the setting on Glyfada beach. We booked the swim up pool family suite which was a great decision. We used the “private” pool daily as the main pool just didn’t have enough Sun lounger space. Plenty of space on the beach though. The room is really well designed. Lots of extra touches, it feels like they’ve had a boating company consult (as every nook has a purpose/great use of space) the beds are really comfortable with lovely linens. The sofa bed plenty big enough for my 10yr olds. Food Buffet restaurant was great. Plenty of hot food (unlike other reviews) and hot plates. 16+ hot choices each night plus 2 salad bars plus kids section. 10+ desserts each night etc. Spianada was great for lunch (pizza, burger, salad, sushi) with fans going to help with the heat and a sea view. Topos a nice change for seafood by the beach We didn’t try Frourio or the themed nights. Kids club was for younger kids (mainly 4-7 I’d say based on a group we saw go past) and the “teen room” is average (pinball + a table football) and not a patch on the Elounda teen space. Hopefully more to come here. Haute living lounge worked well most of the time. They struggled to keep up on busy days (just extend into the bar during the day for extra space!) Staff is the hit & miss piece. Vasilis was excellent. I’d suggest he’s the benchmark the whole staff should be aiming for. Otherwise very hit and miss especially the front desk staff. They need to bring the GM George over from Domes Elounda Crete! All that said we have had a great 10days here. Next time I’d do 5 days here and 5 days at IKOS Dassia.

The team made us feel welcome and the hotel had a homely feel, even though they were almost fully booked, it never felt busy. Our room was beautiful and the bed was comfy, with a gorgeous sea view from the balcony. It was well designed so it has enough storage space. We had access to the Haute living lounge – great for drinks and light snacks. The beach is outstanding. Plenty of loungers by the beach or the pool. We had a wonderful time at Domes and I really hope I can come back someday! My daughter loved the kids' club and the ladies working there were fantastic.

Really enjoyed our stay at Domes and highly recommend it. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted with a nice drink and a tour of the hotel, bags taken from us to the room. First of all the pool was beautiful and clean. Plenty of sun loungers, umbrellas, clean towels, a bar and fantastic view of the sea. All kinds of food options for everyone, young and old, even vegan and vegetarian, the breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent with huge array of options for all tastes. We were a family of four, two adults, two kids, 8 and 11. Suite was lovely and clean, plenty of space for us, our cases and lots of comfort. View was brilliant from the balcony even when a storm rolled in! An early morning swim on an empty beach was heaven, the gym was well equipped and we enjoyed very relaxing massages. Our kids enjoyed a free ice cream of their choice every day, a highlight for them! Drinks in the evening overlooking the sea included a glorious sunset. Book it!

The hotel was "fine" but nothing more - it doesn't really deliver on the marketing hype, and for the price we paid it was a disappointment. We have had much better holidays for the same price elsewhere. I booked Domes of Corfu off the back of hearing good reports about the Domes of Elounda in Crete - but sadly this was nothing like what I had heard, and has probably put me off booking this chain for good. So what was wrong - well...nothing "really major"; but the hotel was just not performing at the same level as its peers for this price point. Our adjoining rooms were fine, but quite small and really lacking in storage space. The "main pool" and "kids pool" are OK, but not that great for young kids (the "kids pool" is really just a big square bath, which by the way has 90 degree ledges so you have to supervise very carefully...). The food at the buffet was very "so-so" - not very exciting, I don't remember a single dish that really stood out; it sometimes felt they had gone for the cheapest generic ingredients they could find (the feta cheese was completely tasteless, and the peanut butter was very sugary - why bother shaving a few cents on this stuff...?) - I ate quite lightly the entire time we were there because, frankly, it wasn't worth it. The Italian restaurant was a little better, and the "fancy" restaurant in the main courtyard was actually quite nice, but generally the food offering was disappointing A few members of staff were very friendly and helpful (especially Yiannis in the sunset bar), but generally the service was a bit lacklustre - there seemed to be no real routine and we struggled at every mealtime / drink time with some aspect of the interaction (nearly every time a dish or drink would be missing, or the bill would be wrong - I mean, every time - it was exhausting...); management were not very visible, unless they were themselves sitting eating in the restaurant at lunchtime (which is just weird in this sort of hotel) - I didn't get the impression most of the staff were very happy or were really bothered about their jobs. The Kids Club was a little better - the staff were very friendly and the kids seemed to have a good time. However, despite trying to book in advance, availability was not great: no Kids Club at all on a Sunday, and we only managed to get half days (i.e. 3 hours) on several days, which is not a problem I have had with any other hotel at this level; unfortunately, the rest of the hotel facilities are also not great for keeping kids entertained; the beach is very busy, and the kids pool is small and doesn't hold their attention long. I would not come back for a family holiday; there are much better resorts at the same price point. The website mentions "playing tennis" - granted, it doesn't actually specify that the hotel has a tennis court; the tennis court showing on Google Maps is now a car park, and if you ask the concierge about tennis you are informed that courts can be booked in Corfu town (30 minu
